I hope that people have managed to have a productive day even if it hasn't resulted in actually making any money:beer:
It's been a pig of a day for me:(. There were so many loose ends I [STRIKE]wanted[/STRIKE] needed to tie up online today but my internet connection kept dropping out:mad:. It was a case of about 5 minutes on then about 20 minutes off, over and over again for the whole day. It's been stable for the past half hour so I'm madly trying to make up for lost time and get everything done. The trouble is I was up before 6 this morning and I'm not feeling too alert at this time of the evening:o. I'm tempted to leave everything and come back fresh to it in the morning.
Since I switched my broadband from BT (who I was always having connection problems with:eek:) to PlusNet my connection has been so much more stable. Lets hope today was just a one-off blip;)
Goodnight, all:)0 -
carbootcrazy wrote: »I bought something essential last week (the only sort of buying I do nowadays:money:) to replace the last one I had which has finally died. It's a family company but at least they are up to date enough to have a website as well as a shop and a thin catalogue.
They never offer cashback on Quidco/TCB but often send me a MOC which I never need to use. Like I said, I only buy needs not wants. This time I found a free P&P code online and used that as, whatever the value of the orders placed with this company, they still charge £4.99 shipping per order:mad:. Every little helps:T.
The parcel arrived yesterday and the quality of the item since I bought my last one (admittedly about 5 years ago:o) has really done down. It is now made in China and looks really cheap and nasty and flimsy. I intend to send it straight back for a full refund.
Unfortunately the return postage has to be paid by the buyer:mad: and it's quite a heavy item. They advise sending by Royal Mail so I'm not a happy bunny. At least i didn't have to pay the original £4.99 postage to get it in the first place. That would have been the last straw.
Starting off the day with a moan:o. I hope it's not a sign of what the rest of the day will be like:eek:

I had my little boy helping (9) and asked him to pick the big carrots... whilst I pulled some beetroots up... sadly he couldn't tell 'because they were all underground' and pulled the whole lot out !!! I replanted a few but basically I now have an evening of chutney and carrot jam making planned... blooming hundreds to peel now!!
I sold the trampoline so I can finally have my lawn back! £35 on Faceb@@@ so happy as it means I've hit target. I will continue making cash this month as it's boiler repairs and car service month... fingers crossed. Planning a few eBay listings over the next few days...
Hope you're all feeling better with the poorlies going round. Xx
Brilliant news re the trampoline :T and hope you do well with the cash for your repairs and service

I've not had much luck with surveys this month and I've slowed with swagbucks. Did manage to get the toys I was looking for my wee ones birthday with my amazon vouchers I've earned this month. I've been waiting for the price to drop and today was the day! Hope everyone is has had a good weekend! xx

Nothing to add for me today but I do have two eBay items ending in the week that have watchers and someone coming to collect a £2 FB item in the week also! It's always my mum's stuff that people want on FB, never mine (luckily I get to keep the profits either way!)
I am back at work next week so will try to get up to payout amount on PA on somebody else's time

I'm exhausted!
Coming to the end of my 2 weeks paternity leave. It's absolutely flown by, but it's well and truly knocked the stuffing out of me. Feel like I'll be going back to work for a rest :rotfl:
Father in law and his partner are coming to stay for a week, arriving the day I go back to work, so at least my wife will have a bit more support, and it's a bit easier now our 3-year old is back at Nursery. She does 3 full days and 2-half days now.
Feel like I'm in between a rock and a hard place at this time of night. I'm exhausted and think I should probably just grab some sleep, but at the same time, and selfishly...I need some time just for me.
Haven't posted for a couple of days, but a small sum to add to the ongoing challenge.
£20.23 from matched betting
I've got a PA payout coming too0 -
Sorry to hear lots of people under the weather. Hope you are all feeling better soon.
I'm having a lazy morning but need to get going soon or the lazy morning has the potential to become a lazy weekend and then Monday morning I will be bemoaning the fact that I haven't achieved anything!
Good luck with the sale CBC
Back later xx
Well my lazy morning did spill over into the afternoon but I did manage to start sorting out the piles of clutter in our family room. Have several piles of books, dvds and games ready to send off to Ziffit, we buy books, music magpie etc etc. I didn't leave the house on Saturday and in fact didn't even get dressed!
Today though I have been to church, done a food shop and been to my parents for dinner plus done more of the sorting. Need some boxes to pack all the books etc into now and get them sent off quickly.
Still loads to sort out though but at least I have made a start now£10 a day April - £4/£3002014 £110.92 2015 £3732.30 2016 £1633.66 2017 £2991.70 2018 £3255.40
