I actually got £494.78 from the tax credit people in August due to an underpayment but didn't declare it on the thread as I wasn't sure if it counted.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000 -
Sorry another post from me as I still haven't figured out how to multi quote!
Anyway last post for tonight to declare a 67p cash out from Qmee.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000 -

£17.96 from matched betting for me today.
Have had our car insurance renewal through at the back-end of last week. Multi-car policy, and the renewal was £127 dearer than last year. We had 1 claim last year (although pay for no claims protection) when our car was hit whilst parked on our driveway, unfortunately the culprit drove off and left us to fork out £200 excess. The premium has increased dramatically as a result too. Tried to reason with Direct Line but they weren't bothered about losing us as a customer. Loyalty means nothing these days it seems. I only wanted them to price match, but they were having none of it. Shopped around a bit tonight, and have managed to get a multi-car policy from Aviva for £113 cheaper than Direct Line's renewal. Very happy with that! :j
Apologies for the long story - reason for posting was that I also used Top Cashback and hope to get an extra £50.50 for taking out the new policy with Aviva. Though I won't claim for that on here, as that's a joint income/expenditure for my wife and I, I've only been putting stuff down on here for things that has been going into my own account. Still - a good days work
Have had a great start to September, but with baby #2 due on Tuesday, I don't know how much time I'll have over the next few weeks. Might actually find I have more time with my first born off to Nursery and our newest arrival sleeping all the time (wishful thinking!!) :rotfl:
Hope everybody has had a great weekend.0 -
Worked 7 hours today as overtime, can I class this even thought I wont know how much I've actually taken home until tax has been deducted at the end of the month?
Also do most of you only class earnings from surveys etc once you have enough to cash out?
Thanks0 -

Yeah, if I do a few surveys on qmee for example, I won't actually count it until I've cashed out and it's in my account.0 -
I hope everyone has had a better day than me. I've had a nightmare time trying to claim for every last potential penny from unfair charges, fees etc. I've already had my 2 PPI payouts (not massive in either case but very welcome nontheless:j) so that well is now dry:(. Some of these companies make it so hard to track down the correct contact details, plus the downloadable forms they provide are mind-blowingly complicated. If I wasn't so strapped for cash I'd probably have given up and I expect that's what a lot of potential claimers do.
Have had to put any other moneymaking on hold today but I did unearth 2 nice forgotten digital cameras whilst I was searching for paperwork in weird and wonderful places. Definitely eBay-bound sometime soon;)
Congratulations on all the money that's been made already. Some amazing results and it's only 3rd of the month:T:beer:0 -

Yep, I only declare survey earnings once they've hit my bank account etc.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000 -

So do I:). It doesn't happen very often but I've heard of cases where companies fail to pay out or go bust:eek:.0 -
