Hi,
I have just done a balance transfer onto a Lloyds credit card. I have a Halifax current account and I just logged onto online banking to try and make a payment to Lloyds credit card. However this is proving difficult as when I have gone to set up a new recipient, I need to have a sort code, which my credit card does not have. Does this mean I will have to open up a Lloyds current account just to pay off my credit card? Or is there a way I can set up my Lloyds credit card on my Halifax account?
Thank you!

The link above explains the sort code & account number for credit card payments.
When logged into internet banking
Click on 'Make a Payment'
then 'Set up new recipient'
In the search box type 'Lloyds Credit Card'
It will give you a few options - select the one that says 'Lloyds Bank Credit Card'.
Enter your card number as the reference.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. Sort code 77 29 00
Account number 00000000
Reference your 16 digit PAN number.
OR
Type LL into internet banking where it says pay a company and the Lloyds ones should show up.0 -
