Bartgirl sorry to hear OH is still being a 't+sser' so much of the time. But as you say oh to be a fly on the wall when he found you not there.
Ref the baby thing. You mention your desire to have another baby. Well here's the thing. There is no reason why you can't have another baby....WITH ANOTHER MAN. You just have to ditch the excuse for a man you are with now.
I don't know how old you are but that is the pure and simple answer about that. Kick this layabout no good person out of your place, and move on with your life. Sorry but your councillor is right why is he still in your life? He does not have the right to mentally abuse you and belittle you just because you have a son together.
Sorry to have a rant, but I hate what he is doing to you. And for sure you DON'T WANT you DS to think that how daddy treats mummy is the normal way for men and women to interact either.

Chev: you are right - I have finally made major decisions regarding this but shall go into those in my next post.
I have been a 'coupon freak' lately. Thanks to this site!
All week i collected the SUN free food coupons - and also got the Times one as well because i have been meaning to buy the accompanying book for absolutely AGES but at the bargain price of £2.99 i could not resist!;)
I had also decided that DS needs new clothes for E next week so got hold of the GAP voucher. Had an H+M one too. They had to be used by Sunday so my nearest GAP / H+M are about 3 miles away but have a Sainsbury's on the way - so i decided that Sunday would be a good day. Parking; less people; quiter roads etc.
Got up at the crack of dawn!..popped into market and bought apples;pears;oranges and a dozen eggs all for £4.
Popped into Sainsburys - used the free food coupons and picked up some butter; youghurt etc so only spent £3.50.
Clothes shopping time! Saw the jeans i wanted for DS in H+M. His size would have cost £14.99 but they mistagged it - to the tune of £12.99 !! In true MSE style i presented it at the till and also gave my 20% off coupon - so got those for about a tenner. The most expensive pair of jeans DS has ever owned!!!
Popped into GAP and got a gorgeous sweatshirt which full price was £16.50 - i would never ever have paid that - used the 30% off voucher from this site (thanks Martin!).
My budget for the day was roughly £30 including snacks etc.
For the first time in my life i went into NEXT!! there was a sale and i spent £4 on 2 pairs of trousers for DS. One for when he's 4 and one for now!
I was so so proud of my efforts so went to McD's for a happy meal then proceeded home. Went into the car-park and assumed it'd be free as its a sunday but no can do - it was £2. I went to take out my debit card and it was missing..dashed straight back to McD's and there it was...Thank you God.
All in all a decent money-saving day i believe.
Now all i need from you good folk is an idea of somewhere i can get a really fab birthday pressie for my best mate. She has seen me thru ALL the carp that OH has dished out and now that i finally have some free cash i want to try and get her something really special. Can any of you recommend any good websites ?CC1: [strike]1,500[/strike] CC2:[strike]£830[/strike] Vanquis [strike]£1500[/strike] £2000 left

:j :j :j Hiya BartGirl:j :j Glad to see you out and about :T
I'm sorry I can't advise on the pressie topic as I'm a vouchers person myself (when I'm organised, that is  )
However................ I think I might hire you one day in the future when I've got a little money to spare. I'm still trying to figure out how you have the will/energy to do what you do with a child and I struggle as a single person  I wonder if 'superwoman' only surfaces when you are responsible for other people :undecided

((((lots of hugz))))))
Nowt wrong with tears and feeling sorry for oneself! We eventually rise from that no matter how long it takes - I've been there and almost ready to shut the door on it too -
Re the weight loss. You supposed to do that from January not before, in prep for summer hols. Now that it's getting colder 'comfort eating' is the order of the season. I've had crisps and chocolate today; tomorrow will be more chocolate. It's just as well I'm in training for a marathon otherwise I'd have problems  :rotfl:

Hey (((BG))))
I only meant the tears and feeling low, not the hubby stuff you have to deal with. I'm almost out the other side so I know you will get there one day.The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025. Member #420
