had this leaflet in my daughters toybox magazine says 99p I cannot see anything that says they will send you more or tie you in is there a catch before I sign up?

Read the terms and conditions very carefully, there are a lot of this sort of thing about, like the grolier/disney books and so on.

I have had the set of 60 maps from this company for 99p. They came with an invoice for 99p. I sent a cheque and canceled. Thats it. I've had no problem with them. I would recommend.

You can get other stuff from them, but if you cancel they don't bother you. I've never even had any more correspondence from them.

I have had the maps and also Kings and Queens from this Company in the past. Received an invoice for 99p. both time, paid this and then wrote cancelling and heard nothing further from them. Both sets of items were great for 99p.

as long as you pay the invoice straight away and send a letter to cancel you are OK, but if you dont do it straight away they send you next lot of cards at higher price & invoice you for them.

Hmmmi am tempted by the maps. don't fancy the 'hand crafted decorative egg' though :eek:

there is no catch s such as you can only pay the 99p but you only get one part of whatever the set is. once you have recieved that one part they say you can keep that one for free and just pay 6.99 evrery other month and it costs alot in the end. i got the winnie the pooh set for my daughter and i certainly dont think it was worth the money you end up paying out for it but if you dont then you only have about 1% of the set.

Hi,
I found this thread after googling "Atlas editions".
I'm not at all happy with them.
I took up their offer of "Duelling Fighter planes" (Spitfire & Me109) "for just £2.99 (free P&P)" in March 2008.
On 26th April, I received a letter saying that there was a delay and that the items should be with me in 2-3 weeks.
The excuse was pathetic, they claimed that the colours were not accurate and that they had had to do research in Govt archives to get the correct colour codes.............I'm sure Airfix did the correct colours for RAF & Luftwaffe aircraft back in the 70's....!
Anyway, 3 Months later, still no sign of them, so I rang their call centre and was advised that they would definitely be sent out in early August.
I've just rung them again (27/08/08) and they assure me that the items were sent out last week with 2-3 weeks delivery from France.
So, I await their imminent arrival!
OK, so maybe there is nothing dodgy about the company, but to take 5 months to deliver something is appalling!
I also pointed out to them that throughout this period they have still been taking orders for these planes, despite knowing that they could not possibly honour their 2-3 weeks delivery.
Bottom line for me is that this company doesn't present themselves as someone I would want to be bothered to do business with in the future.
And I guess I have now opened myself up to being pestered by them for more "offers"............

I've now had 4 of these so-called quality replica watches,and have had to return 3 so far : 2 went faulty after about a month and the third was not wanted (I wrote to cancel my subscription when I returned the 2 broken ones).The 4th has worked OK so far,but I'm not confident it'll last.
In the meantime I've stopped further payments on my credit card,which will I hope stop them sending any more.
If i don't get a refund for the 2 broken watches I'll put a claim on my credit card company and let them sort it out.
