Working Away is hazardous

Just to get things straight; the profile I created used the picture of my co worker with his permission.0

I disagree with the title of your thread.
Even if you worked 9-5 in the UK she might still have been looking for someone (or something) else.
Have you both been taking each other for granted?0 -
Assuming you can set up a profile without doing a search - why did you search? No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0

obviously your wife wasnt happy with your relationship. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

See if the profile is active by having you co-worker make contact.0

It could be entirely innocent. I'm nosy enough to have considered joining dating sites even though I'm happily married - they weren't a big thing when I was single but they're talked about so much that I'd like to have a look! Even with no interest in a date/affair, it would be fun to see if anybody made contact and I can definitely see how somebody who was perhaps a bit lonely might enjoy the attention. I'd love for both OH and me to sign up and see if we get matched!0

I think this sounds cruel and callous, it's playing with someone else's hopes for the future for your own amusement.0 -

On Tinder?! Admittedly, I don't really know *how* it works but AFAIK, you swipe right if you like the look of somebody and if they also swipe right, you can chat (i.e. you've matched). While I'm sure people do find true love on there, I doubt many who swipe right are immediately planning a wedding! Many wouldn't be planning anything past one night even if they do like you.0 -

But presumably you're not planning anything at all.
If you're so happily married why are you even curious about how dating sites work?0 -
Working away doesn't have to place any strain on a relationship.
My husband worked away Friday to Tuesday as HgV driver for 25 years, if anything it made us much closer. We looked forward to him coming home and neither of us, although not perfect, would have advertised for anyone else for any kind of fun or relationship.
Now in the present both of us are together 24 hours a day at home and that could easily become a massive strain.
I think the OP ends to reconsider his options regarding his marriage and trust. His wifes behaviour is serious and needs a discussion.Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives. We will cause you no trouble. We seek only to continue our research in peace".0
