My Experian report shows a 999 score is this right?

I signed up to the Experian report via MSE a couple of months ago and it's always given me a high score but now it's 999. Problem is I completed a debt management plan in April, I did completely pay off all my debts and have been debt free since but surely this can't be correct? I am getting slaughtered by my mortgage company interest rate and I'm keen to move as I can easily half my monthly payments elsewhere but on talking to different companies it will take 12 months as a rule before I can switch due to the debt plan so how can my credit rating show so high?

The score is fictional - just ignore it.
Lenders will only use the data on your files.0 -
The plan wont be showing on your files because it is an informal arrangement. The defaults and any AR markers on your file will be the things stopping you from getting a better mortgage deal.
What is your report actually showing, on all 3 (Noddle, ClearScore and the MSE credit club cover all 3 major CRAs without needing to pay for them)?

Hi,
I only have checked Noddle and Experian but both basically show its clear and no reference to any debts anywhere on the report. I can see my current mortgage and mobile bills but nothing bad. The Noddle report is currently showing at 637 for a score though so not as high as it could be. Trouble is whenever you do any of the compare mortgage sites including the MSE link it always says fine as they never ask about any outstanding debts just income and current expenditure.0 -
Stop using the scores as any kind of measure of your credit worthiness.0

I recently checked my credit report on 3 different sites...my scores range from a "0" to a "353"!0

Both Noddle & Clearscore have a separate section for closed accounts. (towards the top right hand side).
