Not SFD today as had to buy a few diy items so still on 2/18. Need to get those spends noted in my book.
Did take some time to chill out today, but got some jobs done too so all good.

    Grateful for
Early start so got some studying done
Tumble dryer so got washing dried even though it rained
    Relaxed weekend

Hope everyone is doing ok and all ready for the week ahead.

  • Check in 3/30. Not a no spend day here..food shop items needed then took the kids swimming and then had a naughty family subway treat! Whoops! Luckily is included in the budget .. aiming for a NSD tomorrow as only on 1/18 so far. Hoping everyone had a nice day.

  • Checking in late for day 3.

Today was NSD 2/18. No real exercise but I spent ages rearranging my kitchen and cleaning everywhere, wrote down everything we had in so I can plan meals better. Still didn't get round to using those freebie apples so hopefully they'll still be good tomorrow/today!

    Quick check in for yesterday.

SFD achieved so up to 2/18 now. I mist coated the bathroom walls and ceiling :) then did some work and then out for my mum's birthday dinner.

Today I'm back to school but it's an inset day. Hope you all have a great day.

Wasn't going to post until later after I've faced the first day back at work  but I couldn't not pop on and wish you lots of love and luck for the uncertain times ahead Abundant. What a massive amount you've been through, and are still going through. x

Was wondering where you had gone off to last month. Wow.

abundant - sorry to hear about everything that's going on at the moment. Good luck with the move :)

Spendy day on Sat, did not write it all down in my notebook :o so need to chase down all the receipts. Most of it was on food, this was a massive area of overspend this month so trying to keep a better eye on it.

Yesterday was a NSD 1/18 :D. Today should be a NSD too.

Exercise - haven't been out for a run or to the gym yet this month but have managed over 20,000 steps a day so plenty of walking :)

Me time - did some baking yesterday and also watched a film.
    Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500  1.8.25 - £106,362.86
    Mortgage overpayment savings - £3.33/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £675.98
  • Morning all,

Sorry to hear that things have been tough Abundant. Hopefully the move goes smoothly and you settle in quickly.

Yesterday ended up being a spendy day as realised my electricity DD hadn't come out so had to pay that before the due date today. Still on NSD 1/18 but have loads in and no excuse not to get some more NSD.

After seeing all the people on here using YNAB have signed up for the free trial so spent lots of yesterday evening setting up budgets and watching youtube videos. The black whole of time wasted but hopefully can get to grips with it and see if I will keep it up once the trial is over and its a good way to record spends.

Exercise - have training again for the first time since the summer holidays.
Me time - gave myself a manicure last night

Count me in please, I'm trying to raise £1500 to allow me continue with my degree and I'm sure as hell not borrowing it! Keen to see how much I can save with this!
