tiamai, hope your Dad is on the mend soon, was 'Hubby die home soon' just a miss type or is that if he doesn't fix the washer :rotfl:

mis-type.... he did fix the WM though, so maybe he DOES deserve to die for that! LOL!

Hope your friends baby is well soon, it's so scary when they are in and your sent home.

Imagine having to pay for parking too! Insult to injury! When DS2 was in, we were given vouchers for staff prices at the cafeteria, luckily they hadn't started charging for parking, yet, but I did notice that they machines were set up...

bad enough having a child in hospital, and having to pay for meals, fuel, drinks, and everything else without upto £28 per day on parking. How they can honestly say 'get the bus' when you can be called in at any time I will never know! And don't even start me on 'Patient line'!!!!

Awww nicki, I'm so sorry I know you were really looking forward to it :(
  • My computer ate my post!!!

Can't remember all I put in now - I feel fuzzy today and have got my night shifts to look forward to - the joys of working at an airport!

Love and hugs to all that need them

Nicki - that's a bummer when you've looked forward to it so much - perhaps he lurks on here and knew you'd shaved your legswink.gif (mind you, at least he'd have a tidy house!)

Must have a word with my next door neighbour - think he's going to start his new patio this weekend so I might have to find somewhere else to sleep - I can't compete with a wacker and a concrete mixer!

    Later lovelies

    ARGH!

I erupted in spots yesterday, you can join them up to form two perfect diagonal lines on my face, but now one looks very 'coldsorey'. I don't want to get impetigo! The antibiotics make me feel icky!

My WM is fixed though, going to take some wet stuff to my Mum's to use her TD.

    Hi everyone

Hope your saturday's going well except poor Nicki what a real let down. Wouldnt be surprised if it hasnt got something to do with being under a girlfriends thumb !!!

Well for a saturday I was up stupidly early as OH was leaving for a weekend away on his bike and camping no less. Only 217 miles each way to a Lakes/Lancs Goldwing event  rather him than me. But I had to be up to see him off and then went back to bed as I was shattered. Shame because I wanted to get up and play catch up. Then DD got up and sobbed for ages as daddy had gone and she cant see him til Monday so then she slopped around in his stinky dressing gown so she could 'smell daddy' ! We've been into town to buy a birthday present for a party this afternoon which I didnt know about until 9 o clock this morning as the little girl forgot to give DD the invite. Treated myself to a new ironing board so might try and shift some of iron mountain tonight. DS is off to a Tae Kwon Do competition tomorrow morning at 630am - another early start, so then DD going to mums for lunch as I have to go into work for a few hours tomorrow afternoon.

I'm now going to finish the cuppa - sorry forgot to offer round :coffee: then I have 2 and a half hours to fly

    Plan
    Today
complete as much flying as poss + loading WM & TD
    take DD to party
    Food shop
    Collect DD
    Tea
    Iron mountain + X factor
    then early night

    tomorrow
    Baking
    DD to mums
    Work
Collect DD and get food at Mums :D including a plated roast for DS!
    Kids to bed
More iron mountain and bed again

Enjoy the rest of the day
    Kaz
