Nicki, PM'd you if you want to add me!

I've done an hour's gardening but it's gone damp and gloomy and I'm unmotivated now. I might just watch a film with my feet up for a bit. Ooh, the self indulgence!
    Catch you all later.

    Hello

nicki well done on the blind, I'm impressed :T

Not much to report re: flying, you've guessed it done nowt - again- although I have got the chicken in the oven for tonights tea and I've S&S'd everywhere but nothing more than that.

No sign of the car yet :(

DD1 is now safely in Dover and her new house (which she says is massive) her B/F bought her a big bunch of flowers to welcome her - Bless!

I'm sitting here feeling a bit lost tbh - not quite sure what to do with myself....I hate that feeling!

Oh and no bids on my 3 eBay items - what a waste of time.
  • It's much more fun to stalk her solway ;)

Just spent over an hour in the spare room and landing. All the toiletries have now been moved from the wardrobes in the spare room into the 2 underbed storage boxes i bought. Then i boxed up another load of Charlie clothes to go in the loft.

So there are now 3 boxes of Charlie clothes and one box of my stuff ready for DH to put in the loft on Saturday.

Packs and packs of nappies that i am obviously obsessed with buying are now all in or on top of spare wardrobe. There are 11 paacks in total, plus 2 that have only just been started in the bathroom. So it isn't just lil-me who hoards.

Then i put the steriliser in the wardrobe with the breast pump and spare teats and milk powder pots and all that type of stuff i am not going to need for at least 6-9 months hopefully.

When the stuff was out of the wardrobe i also gave it a bit of a clean as it was dusty.

So, much more like myself today, and doing my usual rubix cube of moving crap from room to room to see if it looks less bad being stored there.

Just need to hoover under my bed now and re-arrange slightly so that the 2 boxes of toiletries can go under there, and DH should be impressed.

(have to say it needs doing desperately as in=laws are kipping in the spare room the weekend of charlie's party, ie 8 days away. )

Yeah, someone (else) put the kettle on!

I need to go and get milk. And make dinner. And sofa man won't be here till after 5pm. And I feel really ill now, just want to sleep. Kids look tired too!

And I have ran out of instant coffee, leaving me either proper stuff or de-caf! Whats the use of de-caf?! If i wanted de-caf, I'd just not have coffee!

I'm off to do dishes and knock up some dinner.... sweet potato rogan josh maybe... or just roast veg. no, roast veg covered in rogan josh. yeah.

Afternoon Pigpen, tia and anyone else who is about.

I tried to get online last night to find my lists, but the computer decided to throw a hissy fit, and wouldn't even restart, so left OH to try and sort it all out, and made do with making the dinner. I was actually looking forward to being able to show you all how nicely I'd caught up too :( Finished work at 3 today but as I get a lift home with OH at the mo, I'm waiting around in his office, catchin up with the thread. I'm kinda hoping that I don't get given a temp job next week cos I've got an application for a teaching job to fill out, and need to arrange a visit to the school, as it is "recommended" on their letter. I also miss checking in with you all throughout the day, and the flat has certainly benefitted from me joining you all.

Hope you filled the kettle with enough water for me too.

Hugs to all with poorly rellies, friends, anyone who has shingles, and well done to all the successful flyers.

    sexymouse xx
