You lot are all mad and VERY chatty again today.

Pig of a day at work again. Boss still off and had to go to a mneeting for her this afternoon so she gave me her password to emails so I could get the info and I discover in her inbox is what I think is a complaint from another member of staff. I had an argument on the phone with him yesterday as I needed him to provide some equipment for a conference today and he was like well who's it for, you might get it on time etc. Grrrr he is such a to55er so far up his own jacksie that he decides to complain about me when he was in the wrong. Luckily the customer was sat beside me at the time of the call and he had a go at her as well. Trouble is said bloke is BIG friends with the boss 2 grades higher than my boss and I know he'll have copied him in on the email so I've got another big black mark against me as it wont be rent boys fault.

    Sorry rant over.

Moving in officially from the 21st, that is when my bed (and the rest of the big stuff) will go over and we'll be staying there from that night so that is the official day. We are gradually getting there, instead of living out of boxes for weeks/months/years we've been decluttering and packing as we go, then taking it over and unpacking at the other end. It's a lot to do now as every day is another car load, it has been exhausting as we've painted 4 rooms aswell now, but I know we'll notice the difference when we do move in. For example the kitchen is all ready to use now, which is handy when we're over there all the time, well apart from a toaster and a microwave but can cope without those(want new ones as mine are a bit broken) No digging through a dozen boxes to find a tin opener and a pan. Nightmare at the minute is DS2s bed (ordered both boys new ones) they keep calling saying we'll deliver between 7am and 8.30am which is impossible, can't get there for then! Just hoping it'll get delivered some time next week as it is holding us up, don't know what else will go in his room (smallest room) until we get that in and built.

Yep my friend has tried most of the old remedies, she's just fed up now I think, I've told her to keep off the castor oil however DPs step mam is a midwife and heard several horror stories.

DP has gone out to take photographs, he's got right into photography lately and is driving me round the bend, think I will let the dogs out then vanish up to bed.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Congrats on the new member of your family Denise and have a great time at the party this weekend.

aimee- those shingles sound so awful, good to see you on here again, hope that means you're feeling much better.

DS was palying with friends out in the garden last night which meant I was able to root around and take out a pile of toys and books for him to then sort through and agree whether they would go to the next car boot or not. Luckily he agreed with most things. :T

All my ebay bits from last week end tonight, I've only got one bid, but a few of the others are being watched so fingers crossed.

Must strip the bed before I leave for work.

Updated our finances last night and we now have saved enough for me to have 6 months unpaid leave when we adopt again, just hope we can we matched soon.

    Have a good day.

    Morning all :hello:

I'm exhausted this morning. I had a cracking headache last night (paracetamol didn't touch it!) and as a result I was laying awake in bed until gone 1am then various alarms went off around 6am (which they're supposed to :p ) then OH came through the bedroom door at 7am and managed to slam it into the bed which woke me up with such a start I'm now :mad: AND the blooming headache still hasn't gone! It's now one of those dull aches  I'm so glad I cleaned through yesterday!

    Right whats left?
