Folded the [strike]sofa[/strike] laundry pile, got somewhere to sit now :rotfl: piled up some bed linen which can be taken over for the boys beds. Will find the other bits to go with them in a mo. Going to do half an hours packing ish, which will leave 10 minutes sit down time before going to collect the monsters. So pleased they decided to go to youth club, given me a chance just to breath in peace without the smell of paint fumes, weird what noises you hear when you have no TV on etc, my fridge is VERY noisy today.

charlie has just had a boil in the bag cod in parsley sauce with waffles and peas, followed by a piece of thomas the tank birthday cake minus the blue icing, now a cheese string to neutralis some of the sugar on his teeth.
been taking lessons from the gourmet freezer cooking book.
I've just snaffled his leftovers. mmmmmm! I think i may be the size of a house in a couple of months. That's after about 5 cookies and a bag of crisps when he was asleep.
It's you lot tempting me to the chocolate side though with all those scrummy cakes.0 -

That reminds me of the time my niece ate the blue icing off a racing car cake I had for my birthday. She was a similar age to Charlie and when her mum changed her nappy it was full of BLUE poo!!!!!!!!!:eek::rotfl:Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

I did the kitchen today, as the rest of the week looks busy, and it needed doing. I even cleaned all the dining chairs - you seriously don't need to know the details, but they are now fit to have in a dining area!! And when the kitchen comes up for everyone else, can I suggest checking the cooker hood filter if you have one?
Then, an hour of cutting up more of the climber that I chopped down yesterday, and I now have seven bags to take to the recycling centre next free day. I'm going to add some trellis to the top of the fence, as the new neighbour took down her 5ft fence, leaving just a low 3ft one and I really don't like the lack of privacy - she and the next house along can now see directly into the sittingroom, and the children's bedrooms as well. I do have some shrubs along there, but I want to replant that bit of border, and it's going to take a while for the new ones to grow big enough. Lovely, hours and hours of happy planning with the plant catalogues/books!:D
No better news about my mother. She has developed diabetes, and they were struggling to keep the blood sugar levels down over the last few days. As if she doesn't have enough to cope with already. Just taking it half day by half day. I want to ring her as my phone call - but I'll ask my sister to tell her instead.
Thank you to everyone for your support. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Glad I washed the kitchen floor whilst I had the mop out for the hall. Kitchen has stayed lovely and tidy and being short of time this week I plan to have just a wipe around and do the sink/fridge/AGA top. Did all the windows etc last week. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
