afternoon everyone.
Haven't read past page one of posts yet as i want to write mine before DS wakes up from his enforced nap after a huge paddy.
House not looking too bad today. DH swept the laminate in the living room and dining room last night while i marked all 3 of my sets of books and planned my lessons for today.
Today i have managed to get a load of washing on, and have checked the internet banking for the 1st time in about a week, paying a bill that was sat on the side from last week. I have just requested a payment from a survey site, and checked on a few internetty things. I also folded a couple of things off the airers this morning, although i need to do some more before i can put todays washing out. I'll also do another load or two before bed as i got very little done over the weekend and the baskets are full. Need to get back in the flylady habit of one load per day.
I know there are loads of things that need doing, but i am trying to rest as i have already been sick and have a pain in my side, not helped by paddying DS throwing himself around.
clarkey big congratulations - sounds like you are round about the same stage as me then. I am 9 weeks, and have my 1st scan on Friday morning.
waves and hellos and encouragement to everyone.

Bonus, DP out picking his Mam up and boys decided last minute they wanted to go to youth club, I drove them down as it starts at 4pm and they wanted to go at 5 past! So I'm sat here alone, thinking I should be doing something more productive but I'm just enjoying the peace and quiet! I've barely stopped all day, my arms won't stop shaking from painting, so think I will finish my coffee in my own time then pack some more in their rooms!
Rang DS1s school, school nurse wanted to come and visit, not when we're living round boxes she's not! So have left a message to visit after we've moved! Will discuss anything on phone which needs sorting before then. One day I might be more organised...........

Just having 10 mins to myself then gonna start tea, get things ready for the morning, swish n swash the kitchen whilst loading the dishwasher put 2 loads of washing in and maybe fill a carrier or two with carp!!0 -
Filing pile done. Also managed to stop the kitchen hotspot from reappearing for a whole week now since I dealt with it last Monday. The key really is to keep things tidy and clutter free - I know that, it is doing it which is tricky! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Michelle just stop. When pregnant with DS2 I was very sick, officially had hyper-emesis, constant vomiting. Did a pregnancy test at 6 weeks as I felt 'off-colour', two weeks later I gave up and was signed off work after I woke up at 6am, vomited till 10am, fainted in the bathroom and banged my head off the sink, knocking me out. From then till at least 24 weeks I did NOTHING. DS1 was being taken care of by our parents as I simply was unable to. I slept as when I was sleeping, I wasn't sick. I ate a couple potato wedges a day if I was lucky. (and people wonder why I call him evil?)
If your sick, or feeling sick, rest. If you try to carry on regardless you will feel worse. The house will wait. You don't even want to know how he was born! But trust me, sometimes pregnancy is not as easy as people think it should be, and if they say 'your pregnant, not ill' tell them 'yes, I'm Pregnant and it's taking it's toll, so unless you are offering to help, go away until I feel better'.
Hopefully you will start to feel better soon, but until then, REST!0 -
Take it easy Michelle I'm starting to worry about you x
I'm trying to - think i will get DH to cook our tea again tonight, although i may chop some veg for him before he gets in. Don't worry too much - although it isn't the same as last time i was pregnant i think it still falls within normal, and if i am still no better by scan time on Friday i may ask for a sick note and have some time off till half term
lil_me :T :T you deserve a wee break...
i second lil-me having a rest - in fact, i would highly recommend a nice bath tonight to soak those muscles.
Best go anyway as i am burning charlie's waffles :eek:0 -
Well said tia
Right painting fiished here, A thought it was great using the roller and even better she didn't spill a drop on her or the on the dust sheet/anywhere else. She saud 'mum how old were you when you first painted a room?' 'erm about 24, Nanan did all the painting' 'Wow and I'm only 7, cool'
I told her as well that no matter who does it it will always need touching up
looks pretty good though, just got to keep W out of there while it dries.
You lot have got me thinking jacket tatties sounds rather yummy, plus easy to do. Will have cottage cheese with ours. Going to sort a few of those bags/boxes of stuff that has been shuffled around.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

DD4 doesn't need specs and the optician made her say scissors about 1000 times because he loved it lol.. he had her do a buzzy bee noise a fair few times as well! lol.. good job she is accomodating! I collected DD1's replaced specs so she'll be happy..
I have DD3 (6) vacuuming the back room.. I should bake cake every day.. you don't get any if the back room is still a mess when I get home/if you don't eat all your dinner/if you don't behave/if this if that etc etc etc..
I had them tidy all the junk from the front room the hallway and the backroom and DD2 the landing.. I am just so mean!!
oh excellent.. DD3 is vacuuming the kitchen!! .... need to swap sockets as the lead isn't long enough.. she can do up the bottom part of the stairs next!
Ooooh the little !!!!!!.. DD1 just hung up the phone on me when I said she can't go to her friends again.. She didn't reply when I rang and text her (4 times) she hasn't picked up her clothes I told her to do yesterday and she couldn't get out of bed this morning.. so I am hated... oh well.. I guess I'll survive!
