weather app for Android

Options
Can anyone recommend a decent weather app?
There's so many to choose from on playstore, I could be all day reading the review for all of them.
Thanks

I've had problems with a couple of versions of the BBC weather app in the past so I no longer use it. I switched to the Met Office app but that also played up, so I now use UK Weather, which so far has been OK.

I find Dark Sky very accurate and it even sends quite reliable notifications when it is going to rain! https://darksky.net/app

I just use the Met Office website on my phone. It works better than their app. I have a bookmark of the forecast for my home location.

Some phone makers have had such things on their phones. It depends on the phone. It is not part of stock Android.

BBC are Apple fanboys, despite Android having a larger share of the mobile market, the BBC just keeps producing stuff that works for Apple and don't really bother about Android. I think it was nearly 2 years to go from a working iPlayer app for IOS, to a working(ish) iPlayer for Android.

The BBC forecast is shockingly inaccurate of late. They update their app as the weather happens.

I've used the Accuweather widget for a good while now but recently it has started causing the phone to become unstable or hang completely.

Hopefully this will be sorted the next time it updates but its annoying as the other two weather widgets are much poorer.
