That's the brand mine like, Foxgloves, is it the Good as it looks variety? It must be old stock if there are 44 sachets as they have sneakily reduced the pack to 40 sachets of late. Well worth stocking up at £10 a box! I've been putting mine through the till with nine other full priced or non branded items to get them price matched to Asda. Who is selling them for £10, please?Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Foxgloves- my mum has a jelly licker and also has to have felix. Her other cat is fine happily eats anything but the eldest, he is exactly the same, will embark on a meowathon. I'll very often be on the phone to her and hear him whinging in the background. He has been with her since he was a kitten but is a right whinger!!
Mine can't eat Felix, makes them sick but my mum swears by it for a peaceful life, but it isn't cheap stuff.
Interesting that your cat is a late rescue cat, I thought he would be the same and eat anything.
Did make me smile about BBQ and the pastrami.......obviously a cat that likes to be spoilt and likes the finer things in life. They are funny characters, I would be without mine although the kitten caped crusader is currently pulling my hospital appts off the fridge.....again.
One hospital appointment letter has a chewed hole right in the middle......going to be fun taking that in!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Felix is often on offer at B&M bargains. At the mo the big 40 boxes are £10..
If you are willing to take a risk, Aldi do two types of meat like felix, either the bigger chucks or the fillet chunks like Felix As good as it looks. Both are available in either gravy or jelly at £1.59 per 12.
My cat was a Felix cat for 12 years, but has been fine with the switch to Aldi. For £1.59 it's worth a try.Sept 2017 GC £76.54/£400

Interesting about cat food. We have a jelly licker too :rotfl: we currently have mr s own make but the senior one, he seems to lick less as I think the meat is softer. He is 11 so in theory a senior. Works out £9.10 with DH discount. Might give ald1 a whirl though.
Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend in the sunshine. Just a few things for us today:
Quick tidy round
Get DD to try her school trainers on, see if I can get away without anymore.
Get uniform out that will need ironing tomorrow
Eating out later, but I've chopped in some mr t vouchers to cover it, will park for free out of town and walk in.
Load of washing in, smalls have been to swimming lessons this morning. Dry outside
Double check shopping list for tomorrow
Homemanicure and some knitting tonight
Enjoy your day peeps.0 -
Afternoon all
Gorgeous day here
Been car booting this morning, bought a few things to sell on. I have cleaned the things that needed it, and will price them up for my sales unit for when the shop reopens on Tuesday.
Other things:
Prepare postal survey items for the coming week
Will need to buy some milk, and will need to pop over to the corner shop to buy a pint. I am running out of a number of things, but want to put off doing a proper shop for a couple of days if possible.
Make a loaf in the BM
'Do something' with another couple of bowlfuls of tomatoes
Pick yet more tomatoes - some of the plants are coming to an end now, but considering how awful the weather has been for the past month or so, they have done remarkably well
Figure out what to do with a huge pile of cucumbers
Bathroom could do with a clean
Water anything that needs it in the garden
Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine0 -

Afternoon all, I typed a long post yesterday and then lost it.
Today I have been to my mum's and took and cooked us a roast dinner and tried to mow her lawn, she will get a proper gardener in to put it right
I came home with enough chicken for DS and I to have another roast dinner on his birthday, also half of the yummiest, cheesiest cauliflower cheese I've ever made and some greens and runner beans. I left my mum with the leftover roasties and sprouts to make bubble and squeak. She didn't eat much but more that she'd have eaten otherwise.
I dropped off a birthday card and a bag of work freebies for DSXGF but she has since messaged to say she isn't living there any more and is not on good terms with the landlady so will never be welcome to collect them. Luckily I have friends in high places (namely a couple of the YS regulars) who live down that road that I can ask to get them back for me.
I picked a bag of litter from DS's room this morning and am going in to collect plates and cutlery, I may be some time
The veggies are all due a feed and watering, I'm going to make a proper list of what to grow next year, in what quantities and where. I have never had any luck growing flowers from seed and I don't see veggies being any different so I will still go with buying plantlets but more aubergines (and less courgettes for sure!)
I will add another bucket of water to the translucent fish babies, I can tell which type they are (we have two types) and they are not the same as the last babies and their parent fish haven't been in that tank for months so I don't quite understand where they came from unless I transferred some eggs on a plant or something.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Gorgeous day here
Been car booting this morning, bought a few things to sell on. I have cleaned the things that needed it, and will price them up for my sales unit for when the shop reopens on Tuesday.
Other things:
Prepare postal survey items for the coming week Still to do
Will need to buy some milk, and will need to pop over to the corner shop to buy a pint. I am running out of a number of things, but want to put off doing a proper shop for a couple of days if possible. Done, just a pint of milk purchased
Make a loaf in the BM Done
'Do something' with another couple of bowlfuls of tomatoes Done, they were thin skinned cherry one, so I blitzed them in the processor to make, well, chopped tomatoes. Now in tubs in the freezer
Pick yet more tomatoes - some of the plants are coming to an end now, but considering how awful the weather has been for the past month or so, they have done remarkably wellDone, removed one of the plants
Figure out what to do with a huge pile of cucumbers  Made a batch of bread and butter pickles, jars are just cooling on the worktop now. Only 4 smallish cucumbers left in the pile - till another lot appear
Bathroom could do with a clean Oops, not done
Water anything that needs it in the garden Watering done in back garden
Picked another bowlful of raspberries
Uncovered the blueberry bush as it has nearly finished fruiting now, we have had loads of these this year. A really good, and easy thing to grow in a pot to produce fruit
Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine
DNMS, did you mean to post a link?0 -
Despite the shop saying that it would be open today to look at my tablet.........it was closed.
But myself and DD had a great afternoon. It was a 3/4 hour trek and its a seaside town that I used to take DD and my niece to when they were younger so lots of great memories.
I amazinglyhadn't touched my food treat spend budget for this month so we had food there, spent some spare change in the arcades and typical seaside bingo-broke even and we even came out with some goodies.
Hot sugared doughnuts and then back home. There was an air show on there today so we left when that was going on which made it much easier to get out of the place. It was extremely packed and we noticed that there was a high police presence.
Very unexpected but a lovely afternoon spent with DD before she goes off to uni in 2 weeks. So glad that we did it and it was a cheap afternoon out full of more memory making.
