Lounge - move the TV away from the window a bit for maximum light
I take it back that only one bedroom has been maintained
The TV position is a bit of a pain as the virgin point and double plug socket is behind the TV, so moving any further away exposes a lot of wiring / plugs etc. Ideally I'd probably have it under the stairs or directly opposite where the fireplace is now but that would involve a fair bit of plaster chasing etc.
Yes we've kept it as one bedroom as a bedroom and one as the office - i put a post above but basically I work at home from anything from 1-5 days per week and it can be 35-55 hour weeks, unfortunately its just not possible to not have a desk as I need somewhere to work. doing that many hours in bed, at a kitchen table or on a sofa would be back breaking.
I've created space in the main bedroom by taking an axe to the end wardrobe and I know the desk will fit in there, so might give it a week or two and then move it in there if still no views. We have bought new curtains for the spare room thats more in fitting with the decor (silver) and I will be redoing the photos of both bedrooms, my partner currently on nights though so cant do her room, and I've got papers everywhere for my WFH day job in here.0 -
