Right, have retaken some of the images using a combination of a temporarily purchased camera, moving things around and different angles.

I am not sure about the 4th and 5th pic, as without a coffee table or the foot stool it looks like a lot of empty space. So I added it back in and I think it solves that, so not sure if to retake the 1st photo with it back in?

Will be redoing the bedrooms and the kitchen photos this week, but would appreciate feedback on the new ones so far so as we can continue to improve

    Keep that footstool well away!

The best pictures of the lounge are the first and the third. They make it look lighter and more spacious. You don't need a picture of the TV. ;)

Bathroom picture is good but does highlight that there is no shower. Not an easy problem to solve with the window in the way though, is there room for a shower curtain pole above the window? Then you could mount the shower head higher up the wall. You don't need a close up of the sink.

1st garden picture is nice, but the second one makes it look narrow I think. They also show that the path to the back gate is blocked by pots so you have to walk on the grass. Any particular reason why you've done that?

The external picture is good too.

Bathroom is a bit of a sticking point that I will think about how to resolve. As you say the window placement makes it a bit of a nightmare, you could put a shower curtain up but as its a narrow bathroom, it would accentuate that quite a lot. There is newly installed roller blind so having a curtain rail as well as that would look strange too maybe? on e plumber suggested a perspex cover for the window but I cant imagine that looking good.

the pots were moved there as the neighbour has a little dog and we have two cats that generally just stick to the decking, when they are out so we have plants lining the decking and the fence part way which blocks his line of view so gives them a bit of peace - he's a terrier so the sight of a cat leads to a bark-a-thon. Were we staying, we would probably just erect a larger fence. Would move them but some of them are bloody heavy, so might just omit that photo.

Partner also loves to grow flowers and having them all on the decking would really crowd it I guess, but I see what you are saying. You would only see that angle from the upstairs bedroom, in person it is quite nice.

I wouldn't omit a garden photo just because of the pots, I'd just move them for the picture, they can't be so heavy that two adults can't lift them! The garden is small but nice and is definitely one of the better selling points of your house. Put them at the front to brighten up that gravel.

I'd definitely look at finding a way to make a shower over the bath. Nearly everybody wants a shower, if they think there isn't even a way for them to put one in themselves when they move in they will instantly rule out your house. You could gather the curtain at the foot of the bath near the sink which wouldn't block the window or shrink the room too much.

Theres definitely a way to get one in, and quite easily, but having a curtain over the bath will divide the room visually. Anyway, I am on the same page as you but partner is dead against it for some reason, so will bring it up again.

We are going to get some planters to go along the path at the front to break up the gravel a bit.

Do a poll on here, asking if anybody would consider a house without a shower and where it looked like it would be tricky to put one in.

The results might persuade your partner, or might prove me wrong and put your mind at ease.

It could be as unintrusive as this (obviously different decor!)

You already have planters blocking the path to your garden gate at the back, just use those. You'll need to get your muscles working for all the heavy lifting, DIY and flatpack building when you move house anyway. ;)

It's something you can't do anything about, but stairs in the living room would put me off. ( A work colleague moved because the family did not like the open staircase, as the room felt less cosy.)

Another point about the stairs is that they are uncarpeted so a possible danger to young children and those not sure footed.

When selling houses and holiday caravans, the sales people dress them to suggest a lifestyle, so a couple of shaggy rugs would add the cosy factor.

Trim the hedge at the front, as it's scruffy and will remind buyers that there will be a regular job to be done there.

Why is the front all gravelled, as it looks very bare compared to the fronts with laws, though a few doors down need to mow their meadow ? (Some synthetic grass, that you can take with you may help, some types are very realistic.)

Not having a shower wouldn't bother us (me especially as compulsory school showers put me off many years ago) and the large number of houses of our design, will not take an over bath shower, without building work , as the window is partly above the bath.
