  • Morning all

Up early with DH going to work. Kiddies watching kindles in bed next to me and I'm having a brew to come round.

Minimal flying today - I need to focus on getting some bits on eBay. It looks like it's going to be a nice day so the kiddies can play out. Penultimate week of school holidays about to commence and I really want (need) to keep spending down this week.

Meals will be freezer surprise all round :p. Uh oh just had to issue a screen ban warning if they don't stop bickering (it's only 7am :rotfl:).

Bossy - hope attitudes are better today.

    Have great days all xx

    Morning all.

MMM how ever did you get your list down to that size? You must have been flying at supersonic speed :D

Huge respect to all parents (especially the mums) dealing with bored and cheeky children :T Stick to your guns!

Well, yesterday went pearshaped here. After lunch DH got up, showered and dressed, and came downstairs, where he just sat in his chair. Meanwhile I stripped the bed and did another 3 loads of washing.

By 7.00 he was complaining of pain under his ribs and his breathing had become very laboured - just like when he was ill with pneumonia in November - so of course I called an ambulance. Spent all evening with him in A&E, on oxygen and with more ABs being pumped into him, and finally came home at 11.30. Rosie was so pleased to see me but didn't get her second walk of the day :( (our NNDN had let her out into the garden for me) and I wasn't going to take her down the lane at midnight.

I have rung the hospital this morning and DH has had a "comfortable night" (yeah!) and is awaiting the doctor. I suspect he will be sent home later, so I am about to take R for a walk , then I must go to church as I have things to deliver and people to see (and I need TFM).

I managed to write a short paragraph of my essay yesterday. I am seriously thinking of giving up this course. It will give me huge amounts of stress for another year and nothing much will be gained from it. I can't cope.

Will let you know later how DH gets on.

Ionafan, everyone feels like chucking in a course half way through, everything feels like failure in the middle - and you already know that. Have you go a supervisor you can talk to about how the course is going for you? It's something you want to achieve, so just ploughing on feeling the way you are isn't a positive, but there might be a change of emphasis that would work for you. (((Hugs))) And *healing vibes* for Mr Ionafan.

    Happy packing Valli!

The forecast was rain around lunchtime, so I left all four WM loads on the line. Listening to OH pull on his jacket at 9.00 am this morning to trot Kelpie around the block I realised that it was probably raining. *sigh*
    Better is good enough.
  • Huge hugs to Mr and Mrs Ionafan xxx

I have unloaded DW, put up a picture, put the rubbish out, pegged a load of washing out, re-sorted the craft cupboard (and binned a load in the process) and done some business admin for DH. Two things listed on ebay, one sold immediately on buy it now :j will have a brew then list some more xx

Hugs ionafan hope he's on the mend xx

Slept badly again. Seriously need to rethink my bedtime routine, and ds' too - he says he cannot sleep yet 10 minutes in my bed with me ignoring him and he's ready to drift off... I was still awake at 3 :(

Still, we didn't get up till 8 and I'm showered and dressed, floors swept, furries dealt with and kids clothes ready for an afternoon outing. I'll make some lunch in a mo.

Have intervened in one scuffle so far ;)

Thanks for hugs and crossed fingers. DH is being treated for pneumonia again :( He will be in hospital for the next few days, so at least I can organise my life around visiting times, and the house is already tidy and fairly clean - not much flying needed to get it pristine. But Rosie gets priority for the rest of the day - I can pop in to see DH at any time until he's moved onto the respiratory ward.

Thanks HB. I managed to offload some of my frustration over the course  onto friends this morning, and the vicar is coming to see me. He talks sense and will give good advice.

On a happier note, one of our young mums at church is expecting a baby this week, so I am looking forward to hopefully good news soon :)

Must send a few emails, then take Rosie to play in the woods, before going back to the hospital and paying £££ more parking fees.
  • Hi, newbie here. Would someone be kind enough to explain how levels work, or link me to an explanation. Thanks
