Narco - can the people requiring the docs to be stored not store them?

oh dear, I seem to be taking over the thread today :o

but I just have to tell you - there is now a drawer under my bed with NOTHING IN IT :T That's a clear space on top of the chest of drawers and an empty drawer under my bed - all in one room!!!!

The plan is to remove all of the towels from the pile of (clean) laundry on top of my ottoman and store them in this drawer until I'm able to use said ottoman for storage ie when it no longer has a pile of clean laundry stacked on top of it. (I don't have an airing cupboard).

And the contents of the drawer? CS bag now contains (all unused): handbag, snood, blouse, pencil case and exfoliation pad. I've taken a raggy nightie and a skirt with NO elastic out of the chest of drawers and replaced them with a new nightie ( which I don't recall ever laying eyes on before!) and a skirt WITH elastic. Demoted items are in a bag for recycling together with a raggy pair of ski pants. I've found 3 jumpers that fit now, and several tops which are the next size down to what I'm wearing now, but I'm keeping them as I've lost two stones in weight and plan on decluttering more of the same. New finds will gradually replace tatty clothes that I am currently wearing. (Domino effect again :) ) I haven't found a new home for the jumpers and tops I'm keeping so for now the tops are in the next drawer under the bed and the jumpers? ...they're on the ottoman :o but I had to stop as I was feeling slightly sick :( Too much excitement in one day / bending up and down straight after a cup of coffee _pale_

    Enjoy your evening every one

Round Tuiti you are posting your achievements. Don't worry and keep posting.

I am trying to find the GUAG to do my bedroom. I've brought the duster and Mr Sheen upstairs so that's a start!

You're on a roll roundtuit

We are home and given several hefty downpours we are all cosied up in onesies (not me but I do have a long fleece bedtime hoody over some leggings) watching sc00by d00 :)

Kitchen sorted and I forgot to defrost the meat for dinner so chicken dippers it is ;) (again, not me, yuck! Onion soup on the hob!)

College diary updated with Cruse training dates (yaay, interview was successful) and plans being made for childcare for those days. Woot.

DS football thing cancelled next week (expected) so will get a refund from that and we'll plan another day out instead

Oh dear, I need to intervene in a monopoly-related incident :rotfl:

    Great progress roundtuit :T

Congratulations on your successful interview, Bossy :j

Thanks for all the precious spoons. I haven't done any essay writing today - brain addled through lack of sleep - but I have
    - done WMx3, TDx2 (so far), folded up and put away clean things
    - cleaned the bathroom thoroughly
    - taken Rosie for a walk without getting more than a few drops of rain on us
    - washed her dishes
    - slept for 2 hours on the sofa to make up for some of my lost sleep (and feel a lot better for it)
    - looked after DH's needs to the best of my ability, but if he won't drink enough water he will find himself carted off to hospital and put on a drip. His temperature has only come down by half a degree :(
    - sent a text message to DH's boss on the heritage railway to say he won't be at work tomorrow, and had a reply "Keep in him until he's better. I'm sure you will." Definitely!

DH doesn't want to eat, and is dozing most of the time, so this evening I will
    - cook for myself
    - try to fit in another walk for Rosie between [STRIKE]showers[/STRIKE] downpours
    - do another WMx1 and TDx2
    - do QHI
    - sort the papers on, around and under my desk this evening so that hopefully I can get a full day's work done tomorrow with a clear head, and
    - go to sleep in the spare bed tonight.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Ionafan hope Mr IF is better soon and you are able to write your essay X

Measly half lb lost this week. So have felt like eating the cupboards.

We are now in week 4 of the 6 weeks hols and things are getting fraught.
Ds2 is taking a lot of attention and his behaviour has been at its worst. My back is suffering. This is effecting the levels of housework getting done.

Airing cupboard emptied, ironing basket filled and the rest put away.
General and garden wheelie bins emptied
3xwm done and dried outside before the hailstorm.

    Happy Birthday Dizzy's Small! :bdaycake:

Narco I allow myself to put all paperwork that has to be kept in the attic, on the proviso that I clearly label it with the date it can safely be 'let go.' That way I don't even have to open it to check when the time .

Are you Mr N in disguise? That's exactly what he said.

Narc, can you scan and store digitally the documents x 2 (one for back up)? is that allowed, then dump the actual paperwork. Less of a fire hazard in

Sadly no, partly as it would be hard to scan as many are booklets and in varying colours and I think legally it has to be literally the original although I've no idea how to find out. Think it's in case anyone queries my scoring, interpretation and/or diagnosis in years to come so I'd be able to produce evidence. Gosh, never thought of fire!
