I don't know. There are various "prestige" brand car drivers who seem to think it gives them some sort of importance or authority over us lesser mortals.
The more expensive the car the less likely it is to stop for pedestrians.

The TED video is interesting (having seen it before) but irrelevant, if they truly had money they wouldn't be driving an Audi/BMW (and most likely on finance).
The problem is not the vehicle OR money, the problem is perception of social hierarchy.
Regardless of how rich you are OR what you drive, if you think your better than someone else, you will treat them poorly AND you will most likely become angered if they don't "kowtow" to you.
This BS is why I reject social class, I refuse to allow myself to fill any given class related stereotypes and I refuse to treat other people more or less favourably on the basis of their apparent social class.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I've never read any of your posts that I agree with, but I think you are 100% right with this one!0 -

I know how to handle myself. I undergo defence training two days each year because of my job.
However i'm not stupid enough to risk my career because of someone like that.
It's always the quiet ones to be cautious of. The ones that shout, hollow and tell you what they are going to do are often just full of hot air.
Was only an 08 plate Audi as well.0 -

Like Manxman, I think you're spot on here. It expands on my thoughts.
I reject social class as well.
I do not, and never have understood why some people are so impressed by material possessions or for that matter physical appearance.
People are what they are. A "nice" car or an expensive suit makes no difference to them at all.0 -

Vehicle age doesn't really mater, I know I talk about finance/pcp, but they're still buying a car many years older than what they can afford in another brand, they buy the car with expectations of being respected, of being "above the minions", they drive like "c u next tuesday"s to make sure you can't help but notice them and they become angry when they don't get the respect they believe they deserve.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
