Can you put me down for £300 for September please?

DGS will be wending his way home on Monday as back at school on Tuesday, and as he has been here for the holidays, and has hollow legs, I'm hoping that my food budget will be well within target this time.

That's the spending started £56.17 (yesterday ) in Aldi - however should do us well into next week and then am going to attack the freezer for next weeks meal planning I know that apart from some fresh bits I would need there is def enough in there for a good few dinners - also need to start baking again for the hollow legged children - just never seems to be enough hours in the day!

Did an online order with Mr T today - £51.28 spend there which is a fair chunk of my budget but included ingredients for my next lot of batch cooking so should go towards making quite a few meals.

Also had a small spend of £2 in M&S so total spends for September so far are already £55.47

Can you put me down for £300 for September. I've started to use cash as it makes me think twice before spending. Any money left over will go into the 'Christmas Pot' Thanks

Does anyone check their receipt, I've changed supermarket to a cheaper one and on the last two occasions I've checked my receipt when I got home and found an item on the receipt I've not had on both occasions. I think I'll have to do it in the shop before I leave next time but I'd be interested if anyone has found the same?

Ahhh payday at last! My hooba order arrived today, lots of suasages and burgers made from lovely vegan mushrooms, here is hoping it is all tasty! Packaging to keep it all frozen was impressive.

Today was £3 B&M on vegan chocolate (hopefully for the month.. or half of it..)
£8.75 M&S YS; lemon jelly; veg and snacky bits for dinner; fruit bread; couple of diet cokes. posh wee payday treat!

I *might* pop out later and do my Mr S tins shop; I have clothes for the bank, and they have a big drop off bin there.
