  • I managed to get some audios burn onto CD-r dics but now I want to burn more than one audio onto the Blank CD-rs I have. So I followed this.

    http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=1779

But when I then played it back onto my CD player and computer it would not play, saying it was invalid. I clicked on the properties on the disc and it says

Type of File. "Disc File Image (.Bin)"

Is this the wrong type of file to play? I tried again and again and still didnt work and wasted more Cds.

Probably because no one understands what an "audio" might be.

So perhaps make it clear exactly as to from where the files are coming and what it is that you are trying to create.

Yes. This .BIN file is a disc image -- just like an .ISO file.

You don't want to burn this FILE to a CD (as you appear to have done), you want to load the file into a program that can interpret it and burn the BIN image onto a CD.

If your CDs/DVDs contain files, you can simply copy them to your PC, then burn them to a blank CD/DVD.

If your CDs/DVDs contain audio or video streams that aren't copy-protected (in the case of DVDs), then you can extract the entire contents of the disk into an ISO (or BIN) image.

DeepBurner is a very simple program that can either burn files to a CD/DVD, or burn an ISO image.

So, if you want to create a file-based disc (that only appears as a storage device on computers), just copy the files to your PC, drag them to a new disc in DeepBurner, then burn the new disc.

If you have an audio or video stream on the CD/DVD (i.e. the disc works in standalone hi-fi or video-DVD players), and there is no copy protection (as would be the case if it's camcorder footage), the easiest way to duplicate the disc would be to rip an ISO (or BIN, etc.) image, and then burn it to another disc.

I think I used ISORecorder in the past to rip an ISO image from a disc:

And then DVD burner to burn the ISO to a new disc:

blackcloud, you need to check your drive is a DVD writer, the correct dvd writer, as there are 3 different drives that are around.

You still get the readers; you also get the cd writers, but will only read DVDs; and you get the DVD Writers, you need a DVD writer.

This explains it in more detail https://www.digitalunite.com/guides/computer-basics/how-put-cd-or-dvd-your-computer.

On top of this commercial DVD have measures to try to stop the disc from being copied

not all audio CD Drives recognise computer generated CDs.

you may need 80min/700Mb CD for music rather than the smaller standard 74min/650Mb for longer albums.

to copy mp3 to and make an audio CD I would do this

to make your own dvd from your own vids

this is how to copy a DVD, but a CD is the exact same process but to different media type.

If your media is copy protected you may have difficulty copying them. Re-writables are often both very expensive, and even less likely to be read by non computers.

I always burn at a low speed, rather than max.
