Salad, one assumes, with letters...

Wow Dancemum! Fantastic achievement.
Patchwork coming on a storm. I treated myself to a new cutting mat yesterday and a new type of thread. Makes such a difference; I hadn't realised how many gullies there were in my self-healing cutting mat. That's what comes of making a couple of denim quilts. I've gone through 100m of thread in a day, something of a record for me.
Shower room today so that new arrival tomorrow doesn't think I'm a complete slattern. I am, but she doesn't need to realise that the moment she arrives.Better is good enough.0 -
Honey Bear you are NOT!
And yes, error-spotting is inherent. Also, apart from a few betes-noir, I am very good at spelling. And irritated as I cannot add accents to French words on the i-pad.
DD and I are off to the Hospice summer fair today. Our local hospice, as opposed to the one we had need of. In a way it's easier to support this one, as we didn't use it IYSWIM.
DW and WM x 1. I am fighting a fruit juice stain on a duvet cover, with little success thus far. Time for coffee!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Good morning all.
Sorry for being mia yesterday, but I don't think I actually achieved much to report beyond HHI and a quick S&S of the bathroom. Certainly not anything of interest to man or bête......just practising my new found skill there!!...sorry, I'll leave straight away....
This morning I have been to town just as the shops opened to run an errand for DD. It was already getting busy so I was happy to leave asap. DD and I are off on our holibobs tomorrow. :j Although it is self catering so a bit of planning is needed. DH can't get the time away but hoping he will join us for the second week. So today I MUST pack. Then tomorrow afternoon I will give a big wave to HB (who is most definitely not a slattern!) on my way past.
Well done dancemum on the SW!0 -

Morning lovelies - having a lazy one here. Just settled small beans down with their tablets. Minecraft and Twirlywoos it is. Cuppa for me and awaiting DH's return from a morning at work, then maybe off to a fun day in a local town.
Painted in the dining room yesterday and super pleased with the colour - Matt purple. sounds iffy, but looks nice, honest!
I'd post pictures, but I have no idea how to upload from a Kindle. Iona did try to explain but I'm afraid I've forgotten, if indeed I ever understood :rotfl:
Furniture delivery delayed until next weekend as their lorry driver is poorly. Phew! Gives us a few days to get us a bit clearer.
Feeling snoozy now, so going to have a power nap....0 -

Convinced Himself to bring me up a cup of cocoa last night again. And I slept really soundly for about 8 hours, even having weird dreams, before waking up just after 9am. Didn't even notice him come to bed, which he says happened at about 3am as he was mixing some tracks he's recorded. Is this what relatively normal people do every night? I shall have to continue being outside as often as possible if that's what it takes.
Lounged around until 11 when he surfaced (which surprised me, he has this remarkable ability to sleep All Day if I let him). Maybe the fishing him out of bed almost every day is having an effect.
Tried my new boots on and they're luvvly. All supportive and strong and the correct size. And stompy. I like stompy.
He was still wandering around in his shorts at midday, so I press ganged him into picking some blackberries whilst I chopped things back in the garden. And then helping me chop the heck out the rambling roses so we could put the washing lines back up attached to the fence crossbraces, as there's no way the shed can take the tension without falling apart. Whilst I was there, I uncovered the two paving slabs the builders left as useless stepping stones and lifted them and planted out loads of chard.
He disappeared off and started sorting out the kitchen again. I'm sure it was cleaner last night than when I came down this morning.
So as he was faffing about and talking about having a break (he held a couple of things up whilst I chopped, dug, attached, pruned, planted and lifted stuff, so I'm not sure why he thought he needed to rest), I cleaned the junk off the coffee table and swept the floor, which took all of ten minutes. He's now conspicuously cleaning and cooking again.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Valli, keep your finger on the letter, as you say the box pops up, don't lift your finger but just slide into the box, and to the correct version. Then lift your finger and it should do it for you.
Hopefully yours works the same way (suddenly very aware mine is nearly 6 years old... Lol)Bossymoo
