I agree about this. This need to be a 'sticky' otherwise it gets pushed down and lost in the sea of compos.

Why is it that when i press the thanks button,it doesn't thank but goes to the top of the page? Anyone else expereince this? i am logged on?Thanks!!

I do this and it makes things much easier!

Thanks for this... I have been using this method this evening and I plan to stick to it as it is easy to see the new threads and is much quicker than trawling through lots of threads to check if I have already clicked the thanks button. I have also added it to my favourites so it automatically comes up in the same order without me having to change it. Excellent. Thanks again. :beer: :T :j

Also, the other thing which I do, and I know others do too, is subscribe to the daily comp email - lists new postings so I know I havent entered. Only issue with this is the email has been very erratic.

Sorry if this has already been covered, I did have a quick look on this thread but have you seen how many pages it's got:eek: Anyway, how do you subscribe to the Daily email?

How do you find out if you have won a competition, is it by post or email. Also how long after the closing date. Thanks jay-jay

i did a thread a while back on how different sites let you know, HERE. As for how long after the closing date they let you know it varies alot

I mainly hear about wins via email, or the prize just arrives.
I think i've only had one phone call in the last six months. I think I received one letter in advance of a prize.

I'm glad the suggestion of searching by thread start time is useful to some - I find it brilliant for never entering the same thing twice and I also never get annoyed at bumping - so less stress! lol

I emailed the stay@ addy last week and have not heard anything, I have just emailed the customer relations one and it has been returned, so I emailed the stay@ one again, do you know if there is a number for me to ring

I am curious to know if anyone is getting it, as the powers that be tell me that it is probably my IP, I don't think it is,

I wish :rolleyes: Haven't had one for weeks and am still definitely subscribed. Tried unsubscribing then resubscribing but no joy. Can't see its an ISP thing if you're still subscribed either.

Also I've noticed the 'I Won I Won' daily updates don't arrive when there is a lot of posts on them. Yesterday I got one for the first one in a couple of days and yep, it was a small email.

Have no trouble with any other daily emails that are fairly small. Just the biggies!

Shame we can't get emails automatically once a certain no. of posts have been made, like yahoo forums do. Would make life a whole lot easier
