I've read that you need to be careful with any "autofill" programs. Make sure they only contain your basic details, ie no passwords or financial details as it is possible to set up "invisible" fields on forms, so these could get filled in without you being aware when entering a comp.

i think u should be ok, i use robo form and do not put any banking details on it, people can get the basic info comps ask for out of my bin or from electoral roll, so i think as most of the sites are quite large organisations with their own seurity u should be safe, we will never be 100% safe from the thieving gits but i dont personally see any harm about giving out bare details.
banks are pretty good these days in sorting out any card fraud and generally refund you.good luck if u do decide to doit, i have found it great therapy and lots of fun, as well as very friendly.#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

i probs entered 100+ before my first win, but most end dates were at least a week after my first win. perhaps its beginner's luck, lol, but my first win cam in a comp that end within 2-3 days of me entering, hence my clicking the 1-20 button. I've so far entered into comps that dont finish until at least April, so it wouldnt be fair to count hem in my 'comps entered but not won' mental coutn IYJNWIMWin 2008 in 2008 member number.....237!!! I started comping at the end of August 2007 (searching the internet for comps before realising it was much quicker to come here) and I must have entered hundreds (if not thousands) of comps before finally winning something (Kiddies Anchor iScream apron) at the end of October. I won nothing in November, despite again having entered hundreds of comps. I have won three prizes in December :-)
So I won't give up, I just have to keep at it and come to terms with the fact I am not the most lucky comper - won't try poker or any other chance games at this win-rate ;-)
You gotta be in it to win it.
Good luck everyone and happy comping wishes for 2008!Life without string would be chaos.0 -

I'm getting married early-ish next year (we haven't picked a definite date yet, all depends on finances and holidays granted from work)... So any lucky dust that will help me win some more comps would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and yes the wedding will be in true MSE style, don't want to spend decades paying for just one day on my life, prefer to spend it on improving our life together :-)
Happy 2008 comping wishes to everyone!Life without string would be chaos.0
