Do you think if you select not to receive further contact from the company or their associates, it means you stand less chance of winning ?.

Just curious as I would think they would prefer entrants from people who would join their mailing list or be ok with further contact from them.

• Oooh congratulations MeNikki - lots of festive wedding lucky dust coming your way!

We had a lovely small wedding with only 30 guests - and it was MUCH better than a big rambling wedding - very intimate and relaxed. We did splurge on some fireworks which my brother in laws ran about setting off (they came in display boxes with their own timers) and that made the wedding. My wedding dress was actually a bridesmaids dress and much cheaper! three years on I wouldn't change a thing and everyone says it was one of the nicest weddings they have ever been to - so it's possible to have a blissful time on a budget!

• See my question lower down on the main comp board for some responses ;) I asked it earlier on - seems unless its necessary it's okay to say no.

Well, after the fiasco with the child benefit discs, my details and those of my children are already out there (probably!).
Someone did get hold of my OH's card details a few months ago and opened an online account with a betting site. Barclays Fraud Squad (or whatever they're called!) were onto it within minutes of it happening which was good. That had nothing to do with comping though.
I usually change my DOB around a little bit as well, unless they're holidays, and then if I win I can say I just made a typo.
Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T
• I very rarely use my real world name to sign up to anything online these days, Lucifer The Dark is all most people online know me as & that's the way I like it.

• I recommend "autofill forms" for Firefox. It's completely configurable and very powerful.

After reading another thread somewhere on here, I have set up a seperate email like competition@emailaddress.com which I use for all entries, so if it gets junk then it's no harm done, easy to press delete.
