Ahh a kitten, understand completely everything you are saying, but my goodness resisting a small cute kitten is usually futile.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

Well, we went... And he'd just been reserved, so he's got a lovely new home somewhere else. However, I have been in contact with the rescue site we support and while they have none at the moment she thinks they have some in foster and will get back to me tomorrow. I think my fate is sealed, H was very disappointed and he looks after me so well when I'm struggling I can't honestly not let him have this. He had our old boy for 12+ years along with his sister, (both Persians) and when the female died we got the cat we have now as we both really felt the loss from two to one cat. Before that had previously had a mother and son cat combination so its what's normal for him in pet terms. We'll see what tomorrow brings.... Oh and it looks like grandson might have chicken pox... I've had them so think I'll escape... Back later for round up/down..0

So.. I've done my Sunday night rounding down and I now have nearly £89 in my savings... But, and it's a big but £20 is for cc payment this month so that's nearly £69, and when my mobile bill goes out I'll use some from my savings to make it less of a tough week. Probably still knocking on for £65 though for my Xmas budget so I'm pleased with that.
Got the mobile mechanic coming out tomorrow to look at the car that's been unable to move for about 3 weeks... Hoping it will be fixable, it's a land-rover so a tough car... Fingers crossed... Trying to be positive...:eek:0 -

Well, I've stayed in all day and no sign of the mechanic, seeing as it's nearly 5.30 I'm guessing he won't be coming today, tomorrow is usually the day I go into the city centre and spend the afternoon there while H is in work, so I'll prob be at home tomorrow too...maybe I should look at it as a NSD aid seeing as I can't leave the house..
Feeling abit low and weepy this afternoon.. It's probably missing my furry companion.... And I know we're going to be scattering his ashes soon (and his sisters-we wanted them to be scattered together so we saved hers)... Stupidly I don't want to, H saying we need to let them go, he doesn't realise I talk to her and I'm only admitting that here under the cloak of anonymity...
Anyway.... Little cry again... I thought I was doing better than this, and try as I might I can't twist this round to anything mse-related so I'll head off til later...0 -
Oh kitty, I'm so sad for you, it's so hard. Big, virtual hugs.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

Thanks wishing, I understand that for many people it's ridiculous but I'm home a lot and he was just always there... And was very vocal and ofcourse I had to answer him.. The house seems very quiet because the remaining cat is much less sociable and doesn't really go in for a chat and a coffee while we listen to Womans Hour...:A0

Not ridiculous at all. Our little fur all used to be all cuddly, until the child came along, he now stays well away from all humans in case the small one is around.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)
