So, big spends of the birthday weekend over with. Bearing in mind it was a big birthday I don't think we did badly. We were out at an exhibition opening on Friday, no real spends there-fuel was all. Saturday was my birthday, H got me a lovely 'everyday' necklace in rose gold. Top marks to him for listening when I'd said just how much I love RG, also a big bunch of roses.. He's also been taking note when I've had flowers and noticed how long they last. He took me out for a lovely meal at a favourite place-rarely visited but aways great. Yesterday we went for lunch with daughter, her partner and our grandson. We then went for a canal walk-in been to the supermarket and bough some cakes and flapjacks etc thinking we'd find an empty bench along the canal, no chance in this sunshine so when we came to the park we went into the gated kiddy bit and let grandson let off steam and ride his trike while we sat in the shade and ate cakes and strawberries. It was a really good day, definitely needed.
Today we were supposed to be going out again but it's so sunny, and H hates sun, he gets burnt easily and gets headaches-he was still up for going but I've suggested a garden centre trip and filling the tubs to cheer up the back of the house. So, a much more relaxed day today.
My cc 'debt' is now down to 212 as I was determined to be under the teens by my birthday, might slow a little now but its amazing how quickly its now going down as there is no interest and I'm paying far more than minimum payment.
Next target is under 200 by the end of the month!
    Have a great day everyone.
