How much of a difference between 3dr and 5dr

Credit to Renault for later Clio 5 drs are similar to 3dr models much more compact which is why I enjoy my 2014 plate 5 dr as it reminds me of 2001 and 2002 3 dr Clio’s which I drove for years.

Not sure it is a UK thing. When I used to live in Germany (and quite car obsessed at the time) it was very noticeable that many more cars were 3 door compared to the UK. I remember noticing lots of 3dr Sierras (showing my age there, it was quite a while ago!) which in the UK weren't even sold other than the odd high performance version. Also Golfs, in the UK vast majority are 5dr in Germany the other way round.
