Please don't stress about giving more money if you're struggling to or worried about maxing your budget - it's perfectly reasonable for you to draw a line when you've already paid £160+! Just be honest and say sorry, I've already hit my budget with this after accommodation, travel costs etc. The money you're paying is already a lot so please don't feel guilty about it.

Hen dos seem to get really expensive really quickly. I always think that if the bride wants to do something a bit extra special for her hen do, a weekend away etc, then that's her decision, but she then also has to accept that some people will decline (understandably) or some might not be able to afford to come along or contribute. In any case, you shouldn't feel any pressure and you're well within your rights to say no.

OP I think you were crazy to spend so much already if I am honest but i'm a right old tight wad I will admit

I organized my own hen night - As bridesmaids were talking about stuff I wasn't interested in - including strippers which would have made my blood run cold lol

I had a house party, plenty of nibbles and booze, and minimal travel as everyone lived within a five mile radius. I brought everything for less than £200 including some daft games, party music, people didn't start leaving until 6am. it was in the summer and we were able to be outside a lot too - it was perfect for me, but not everyone's cup of tea I know.
The opposite of what you know...is also true
