I have been asking for return envelopes for weeks and never get any sent to me so I'm ignoring the return request now, I shouldnt have to keep asking for envelopes time and again for them never to arrive

    Just the same here.
They never send return envelopes in the posting packs, and when you send a request they send one envelope.
When they request RFIDs to be returned these days, I request envelopes and they have to wait until they arrive.
  • It must just be me but I never seem to have a shortage of envelopes. In fact, when I get to the end of my stint, I end up returning one RFID in each envelope because I’ve got so many (didn’t know before the last few weeks that they would accept them back again).

Perhaps that’s because I tend to be a bit lax at returning RFIDs when requested - if they ask for them back, I tend to use those ones for the next mailing, so as to try and minimise the amount I have to send back and also the amount of new RFIDs they have to send me to replace those I’ve just sent back.

The RFID envelopes have a one-time seal so they can't be reused can they?  The logical way to send an excess back would be to use one envelope to send the rest (folded) back - so at least they can be sent out again.  Like I said above I had 3 left at the end of last cycle so I just kept them to use again.

I guess Kantar don't want to be buying any more that will be useless after the end of the contract.
I need to think of something new here...

What I meant was that I didn’t realise they would take them back and use them if I sent the surplus back along with the RFIDs, so ended up actually using them to send RFIDs back one at a time just to get rid of them (rather than throwing them in the bin). I guess it was obvious if I’d actually thought about it for more than a second!

.... you mean under the "RFID recalls" notice when you login to Kantar? Surely not. That would make this thread mostly redundant.

Did anyone see a message on the app recently that any 2nd class letters/parcels we send from a certain date we shouldn't include an RFID even if the printed posting plan says we should.  I can't find the message on the app or website any longer and can't remember the day this starts, can anyone help.

Got my posting pack today. Early because of the postal strikes. Hopefully next month we will get the Christmas stamps.
