Had an underpaid postage card this morning.  Can't think of anything I am expecting so will wait and see.
Some people shouldn't be on the survey.
One of the large envelopes we get in the packs, not a provided large white, with a clearly reused stamp - just cut off the envelope with the paper still attached - sellotaped on.

The mind boggles - why?  All I can think of that someone in their household "borrowed" the envelope that should have been used and the sender improvised with the extra envelope from the pack.  Even then, they should have a book of Large 1st stamps on hand to take one from.
I need to think of something new here...

I doubt anything like that.  More than likely they have kept the good stamped envelope for their own use and used a received unfranked stamp on one of the large envelopes knowing that if it goes wrong Kantar will stump up the surcharge.

Or they put the wrong address on the envelope and instead of tippexing it out or using some of the numerous blank labels they chose a very convoluted solution.

I'm thinking (hoping?!) that someone messed up having to handwrite on a large envelope and this was their solution.
  • I've just had a cube delivered, in a plastic 'our sincere apologies' bag, fortunately everything is still inside but the sender has used a minimal amount of sellotape when assembling the cube both top and bottom had come open  :/

Bit of a cynical explanation there....

However - if you've logged it with Kantar as a problem, and they are doing that, then presumably they will get noticed and kicked off the panel if it happens repeatedly.

Was the cube squashed? If so, it might have come from me… My cubes have to be posted in a parcel box but I’ve told Kantar that they make them far too light to tip the counter balance in the parcel boxes and so the only way to post them is to squash them into the box. As usual, Kantar did nothing to resolve the problem.

My old boss used to tell me that  ........... and then admitted I was usually right :D

  • Have received my stamps for April today. The first class stamps are the new bar coded ones and the large stamps are still the old style.

They must have been running down the last of their stocks of the large stamps as the ones I received today were all the new versions.
