Do you have to do anything to get on the CD survey? I’ve never had a notification, email or pop up message.

Don’t think so. I don’t remember opting in to anything.

I didn't do anything either - I got invited by TNS after a couple of years of doing the main survey

No Yiu don't have to do anything to be invited on the unaddressed mail or correctly delivered surveys.  I think they just keep panelists on a list and do a bulk mailing when they're next running a survey of any kind, then it,s first come first served.
I don,t know whether these are done on a National or regional basis as members have no means of knowing where in the country others are based.

I get the unaddressed mail ones back to back, and it stays on the portal a lot longer than the correctly delivereds which I’m rarely in time for, I think it’s because there’s a known problem in my area, given I’ve not had any of the leaflets for weeks.

I have been on the main panel for over 7 years and I do the correctly delivered survey about 4 to 6 times a year. I have never had an invitation to the unaddressed survey and would love to have a go.

Well that was a shock.  Ordered my Amazon voucher at 14.28, received the code at 14.39 !!

I've been on the unaddressed mail survey back to back for months now - and I don't think there is a major issue in my area, I seem to get some leaflets every week more or less.  It is a lot easier to get on this survey than the correctly delivered - for the CD you need to be in your email box as it comes in more or less, they can be gone in 5 minutes.

Anyone else just started the Unaddressed survey on 16th August.
When I come to enter the first day I see that it started on the 9th.

The survey asks, and always has, that you hold any unaddressed mail from the previous week just in case it has been delivered early.  This is just an extension of that.  I simply fill it in as 0 for each day.
