Out of interest I have just been onto the website and according to the panelist guide the app is not mandatory as it statesHowever I thought someone on here posted that they had been dropped from the survey for not using the app at the post box. Confusing.
If you’re doing this on the website, enter the date, time and location you posted the item and submit. Always make sure to record the exact time of posting to the minute: If you’ll record your item later, check the time you’re at the posting location and make a note of it

I’m just about to go on my rest period however, I still enjoy doing but it’s not really about the rewards for me (the monetary rewards are good, but I’m not that bother on the stamp rewards, except for the presentation packs, which I collect). I did my first stint 3 years ago and I’ve still got more than half of the stamp booklets I accumulated during that period of time, so clearly they accumulate much faster than I can use them! However, it does give me an excuse to get out of the house and go for a walk to the post box, which if I didn’t have to do, I’d probably find myself sitting on the sofa instead!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j3

I'm on the live panel and I do not use the app, it hasn't been queried.littlemoney said:Out of interest I have just been onto the website and according to the panelist guide the app is not mandatory as it statesHowever I thought someone on here posted that they had been dropped from the survey for not using the app at the post box. I’m now not convinced they even know who is using the app. I always use the app and always record the items sent when at the post box (more so out of habit and to save me having to remember the time), with the app recording the time and date of posting automatically. But when I look at the “your contribution” section of the website, I only get 2 out of 5 stars for GPS verification and 0 stars for data freshness lolBaileys_Babe said:

Does anyone know roughly how much it costs on PAYG to use the app to register outgoing post at a postbox please? Is it heavy on data usage? And how exactly do you do it?
TIA.2 -
No idea what data it uses but the app identifies nearby postboxes from GPS, you choose the right one, it gives the date and time and asks if the last posting date is correct. It’s very quick so I wouldn’t imagine it uses that much. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I use the large letter stamps for posting Christmas and birthday presents - never have any trouble using them, unlike the first class stamps which I usually put a pack in Christmas cards for immediate family every year.

@Money_Grabber13579 I did like the routine too, except the times when it was a little inconvenient if i had something else on. I'm going through my stamps quite quickly though, could do with another stint before xmas

I’m resting at the moment, expect to be called back soon. Last stint I opted out of posting parcels as my local post office was only opening limited hours due to Covid and the queues were horrendous. Now the parcel posting is too much hassle for half the previous reward, so I will only rejoin if I can opt out of parcels.
I have already gathered enough stamps in reserve to post out kids wedding invites next year and have excess left over.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I'm the same as you, resting at the moment and as I will be fully back at work will not be able to do parcels as I leave before post office opens and home after it closes. I will be asking to opt out sending them as well, don't know if they will allow it tho, we will have to wait and see.silvercar said:I’m resting at the moment, expect to be called back soon.
