I will be interested to know their reply if any, I have a sack to take to the post office next week and I noticed the manifest is dated April.jwil said:Has anyone had problems posting the parcels? I did a sack a couple of weeks ago no problem, but I've tried to post one today at the same PO and they've refused to accept it because the date on the manifest is not today's date, it's dated April which is when I received the posting pack (today is the scheduled posting date). They showed me a letter from RM saying that PPI parcels shouldn't be accepted without the correct date on it. I've messaged Kantar about it.
What a palaver! My nearest parcel box is in the next town, so that's not going to happen. I'm not going to traipse around trying to find another post office to accept it either as I'm working from home and can do this one when I do the school run. I don't go anywhere else, and am not making a special trip when it may or may not be accepted.bdark2755 said:
I had the same problem, at the beginning of April, my PO refused a labelled parcel as the manifest was dated March! I didn't know what to do, so put it in my local parcel box. Then messaged Kantar who told me I shouldn't have posted it in a parcel box as we're not allowed to use them, but should have taken it to another post office (which there isn't one). I told them I would no longer be able to post parcels unless stamped. To which they agreed, then 2 weeks ago they sent me 2 labelled parcels to post this Saturday, along with a manifest and sack etc!!! I messaged them to say I had already told them I wasn't doing labelled parcels anymore, they said to return them using the request stationary link (which they sent) but that took me to a page for ordering a new sack, tie and tag! I despair!!! Then literally 2 days later I get a message from them saying I can now post labelled parcels in my local parcel box minus the manifest and sack. So my 2 parcels will go in the parcel box this Saturday and I'll pop the empty sack in there on a different day, just to get rid of it. Just as they make life easier for me, I then got a message this week to say my 6 month stint is coming to an endjwil said:Has anyone had problems posting the parcels? There's only ever one copy of the manifest. It's so much hassle for so little gain isn't it.Chocmonster7 said:Thanks for letting us know about this. I had problems posting my first sack as I only had one copy of the manifest. If it's going to cause more hassles when I have to do one next week I won't be happy!
Yes, instead of the parcels with stamps on or having to buy postage, we now have to take the sack with two parcels in it.Primrose said:Are they including these in the main survey? I haven,t yet had one to deal with and disability makes it impossible now to get to a post office. I suspect there are others with similar problems. Royal Mail might perhaps do better running these items as a separate survey like the Unaddressed Mail or Correctly Delivered surveys.

The PO should need only one copy of the manifest. They use that and do not issue any kind of receipt to the sender.Locky said:
The post office wanted two copies? I've only ever had one sheet. This then should apply to us all who have the facility of a Parcel post box. I have sent them a message to confirm this is the case as it is more more convenient for me.Money_Grabber13579 said:I’ve just had it confirmed that I no longer have to visit a post office to post any parcels and I can post them in a parcel post box instead.
I don’t know if this applies to everyone but I received the confirmation in response to a question which I had to reply to, asking if I would be able to use a parcel post box. I wonder will I still be eligible for the £2 reward? Hopefully, because I’ll have to drive to my nearest parcel post box!Hello,
Thanks for confirming that you can use a Parcel Postbox for posting your survey parcels, that’s great news!
If you’ve not yet done so, you will need to register the Parcel Postbox you’re going to use. Remember, it must be in your postcode area. Click here for a list of where to find these postboxes. You can register them like any standard postbox in the Posting Location section in your account.
When we send you parcels to post (labelled and stamped), we won’t now send you a mail bag, Manifest or tag to go with it. This is because you put your parcels straight into a Parcel Box without any bags or documentation. If you have any unused mail bags, you can send them back to us - click here to request a return envelope for this.
From now on, please post all your survey parcels (labelled and stamped) in your Parcel Postbox and not in a Post Office. Only use your Parcel Box for parcels – all other items, including jiffy packets and DVD boxes, need to go in a standard postbox.
Thanks again for your help. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

I have queried this as I am disabled & was told if I could not post them I would have to come off the survey.Primrose said:Are they including these in the main survey? I believe you shouldn't need to stand in a queue when using the mail bags. You should simply be able to drop it off - with the manifest secured to it. (I tuck the folded manifest into the fastening.)beanielou said:

I thought they had to be handed to a member of staff? Hence the queue.General_Grant said:

They demanded to know if a copy of the manifest was in the sack then said I should have two copies, one for them to keep and one for my records. I'm going to photocopy the sheet before taking it in this time!Locky said:

I've always had to hand mine over, and they scan the sheet in at the time.beanielou said:

My PO insists on hole punching the manifest and getting me to thread the sack tie through it. They also print out a proof of purchase for me.4
