Seems like there is a lot of variation in how Post Offices treat the mail sacks. Mine just glanced at the manifest, threaded it through the cable tie and told me to dump it around the corner where the sack is for prestamped parcels. Kantar need to contact Post Office Counters and get them to send out a circular so post offices know exactly what they are supposed to do with these sacks.

I don’t know if this applies to everyone but I received the confirmation in response to a question which I had to reply to, asking if I would be able to use a parcel post box. I wonder will I still be eligible for the £2 reward? Hopefully, because I’ll have to drive to my nearest parcel post box!Hello,
Thanks for confirming that you can use a Parcel Postbox for posting your survey parcels, that’s great news!
If you’ve not yet done so, you will need to register the Parcel Postbox you’re going to use. Remember, it must be in your postcode area. Click here for a list of where to find these postboxes. You can register them like any standard postbox in the Posting Location section in your account.
When we send you parcels to post (labelled and stamped), we won’t now send you a mail bag, Manifest or tag to go with it. This is because you put your parcels straight into a Parcel Box without any bags or documentation. If you have any unused mail bags, you can send them back to us - click here to request a return envelope for this.
From now on, please post all your survey parcels (labelled and stamped) in your Parcel Postbox and not in a Post Office. Only use your Parcel Box for parcels – all other items, including jiffy packets and DVD boxes, need to go in a standard postbox.
Thanks again for your help. If you have any questions, please get in touch.

This was the reply I received today:
A Manifest shows the date it was created at our premises, not the date when you take your parcel to the Post Office, and this shouldn’t normally be a problem. If staff at your Post Office won’t accept your parcel for this reason, please go along with what they say and let us know the Post Office branch in question. You will still be able to take your stamped parcels to this branch because you hand them over the counter without a mail bag or Manifest.
If you have another Post Office you can visit in your postcode area, please take your labelled parcels there. If not, please let us know.

Back to the parcel saga, I was passing my local delivery office today, and so tried to drop off the parcels there. They have said the same thing as the post office - they won't accept them as the date on the manifest is wrong. They said it looks on the system like they've sat on it for a while instead of delivering it. They also have a sign up saying that all PPI mail needs to be checked and can't just be left.
So certainly it seems the post offices local to me aren't accepting them.
I've had confirmation from Kantar that I won't need to do parcels now"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Took bag of parcels to local PO (in WHSmith) and I had to wait while the only member of the counter staff on duty spent a few minutes chatting to previous customer. So in future I shall time my visits to avoid the busy lunchtime period. This time they did require it to be handed over and scanned the manifest before tucking that into the bag fastening. I hadn't checked the date on the manifest but if it was April they didn't seem interested.4

I handed the sack with one cube in it (felt very silly as it was so light!) in at my local branch within WHSmiths yesterday. I'd taken two copies of the manifest but this time the assistant, who was different to late time, just took both sheets then scanned the code, stamped them and gave me one back. Glad to be in and out without hassle!
