    An unusual scenario for me...

Received a cube, which looks to be from Kantar themselves as it has the West Bromwich return address.  However, inside the cube, they have stuck my printed address label rather than the label with the R number on it and so I can’t log it. I’ve had this happen before with mail received from other members but you’d expect Kantar to be able to get it right!

I'm guessing that you've yet to SEND a Cube using the new "pre-paid APL" type label that you put in the sack with the Red/Green tag attached and hand over at the post office with the A4 manifest ?

This label DOES HAVE the West Bromwich address printed in quite small text vertically on the right-hand side of the section that contains the destination address.

Does that describe what you have by any chance ?
Ahhh, so just because it has the Kantar return address, it doesn’t mean it was from them? Fortunately I haven’t had to use one of the monstrous sacks yet!  I’m used to getting letters from Kantar, so just assumed this cube was also from them.

I have had a test item arrive today, it was in a big thick jiffy bag, no postage on at all.

There was no smart card enclosed and I can't enter the data without entering a code for this.

    What do I do?

They don't all have smarts - is there not an option for just entering the RFID, or is that not there either?
If you can't enter it, just make a note of any details you do have in case there are any queries then bin it. You don't need to let them know.

I was being really daft, didn't notice the slider to say if there is a RFID or not, so it's sorted now..

  • I am going away for 4 nights.

I can post any outgoing test items the same day of the following week, no problem, but can I log the incoming test items the week after they arrived? Obviously I wouldn't be able to enter the exact arrival date as I won't be at home.

I would prefer to do this rather than tell Kantar I am on holiday. Any thoughts please? TIA.

I can't check the actual wording at the moment as looks like they're doing site maintenance but there should be an option to say "Unsure" or something to that effect when you log the incoming items.

Sometimes you may still receive items even if you mark yourself on holiday as other people may have may have posted the week after the original posting date so you should be fine.
  • Great, many thanks.

Kantar won't care if you're on holiday anyway. The number of times I've told them I'm away but still had a posting pack/received items while I've been away is nobody's business.
Just log it as unsure, as per the above post.
