    Hey guys
I've just started on the panel and have packed up my training packs ready to post before i start the real deal. I just have a quick question, one of my items has to be handed over to the post office counter, i assume its just a case of taking it down and handing it over? Am i right in assuming that because the stamps are already on they don't ask whats inside? What have you said if they do ask?

They usually ask me what's inside and I just say a cross stitch kit! Some people say things like samples. It's tricky because it's obviously something light!

Blank dvd is is my explanation. Also do not use the same post office in case they know I am a mystery poster.

One thing I feel embarrassed about is having to the hand over a cube when TNS have sometimes put the stamps on already.

It's unusual to have to post a cube in training. Are you sure it says hand over the counter, and not just post office? When I did my first training a couple of years ago, this happened to me, and TNS emailed me to say, why did I hand something over the counter that could have fitted into the box outside (duh because you told me to). If it's a cardboard training smart in an envelope or jiffy bag then pop it in the postbox outside the post office. Sometimes the paper version of your posting plan isn't the same as the online version.

I say artificial flower samples. If the stamps are on already I ask "Could you please weigh it for me in case my home scales are wrong and I've underestimated what the postage is."

If it's a cube (that you had to fold up and tape together) then you will have to hand it over. If it's pre-stamped, I just drop it straight into the sack/put it in the hatch. Depends on the PO whether you can do that though...

I've started saying "Electronics - no batteries" - which explains the light weight. I'm not bothered about the same clerk seeing me once a month and remembering - I might be an eBayer selling memory chips or custom circuit boards.
I need to think of something new here...

I always say, "It's a sample of foam" as I'm sure thats what the instruction was from TNS in the past.

Sometimes the counter clerk looks as though he wants to ask why I'm sending samples of foam all over the country but so far he's resisted the temptation...

I had a cube in training to hand over the counter but was already stamped. Normally on the live panel I have to pay the postage myself and as you know its refunded through vouchers.

I've just begun re-training and have a small-ish jiffy where the paper schedule says simply that it is to be posted at a PO. Normally I would post this in a box but I have noticed that the online schedule says that it is to be handed over a PO counter. If I am asked what the package contains I shall say that it is simply paper and card.

Also had a stamped cube in training and got the £2 for it. Had a stamped cube whilst live as well.
