Did he get to keep it or did you have to return it? I once bought a heavy-duty shopping trolley from their Clearance section to help with my phone book deliveries and I'm sure someone had been doing stunts with it:rotfl::eek:

    LOL

Yes he gets to keep it. I must sell his old bicycle

Anyone doing MintVine, they have realised that exchange rate was wrong way round and it hasn't reverted to normal for Amazon.

You are better off taking PayPal now.

Hey for any other users of One Pulse - do you eve get notifications that there is a new survey, but then can't see anything in the app? Does anyone know why this happens?

    Thanks

Yes regularly. I then got back Into app independently and it's there.

You can ask the team. On the app, think 2nd tab is as us a question. This is a direct link to send them queries and they reply via it.

If there's one thing that really makes me frustrated and cross it's having to wait in for people who are supposed to be delivering/collecting stuff or just coming to repair something. No one ever turns up anywhere near when they say they will:mad:. I'm glad your car buyer finally turned up but it sounds as if you had to waste valuable time.

I've been cleaning and polishing various items to take to the nearest auction house tomorrow. They have a vauation clinic every Friday morning and if they think the items are saleable I'll leave them there for the next auction at the very end of this month. They pay the next month after the sale but at least it's things out of the way and the hope of money to come.

Not too sure if any of this lot will realise much:(. I once took a collection of 12 French-style 'limited edition' decorated porcelain jelly moulds for appraisal thinking they should be worth quite a bit. They were given to me by a friend who was emigrating, they'd taken pride of place in her home and she thought they'd look lovely displayed in my kitchen. Sadly, they were dust-harbourers and I didn't bother displaying them for long , plus I thought they were a bit 'twee' somehow. The valuer took one look at them and said they weren't worth the cost of the commission and other fees I'd be charged if (a big if) they sold at all:eek:. He said I'd be better trying a car boot sale:rotfl:. That's where I ended up selling them at about £3 each. I was glad to get even that for them;)

I frequently see all sorts of rubbish fetching good prices at auction on Bargain Hunt but in real life the bidders wouldn't dream of paying that much:(. That's my experience anyway.

Thanks - I have asked them and will see what they come back with as the survey is missing even if I go into the app independently.

I messed up with my ebay sale, it was for books. they were only buying one set, but I had put both sets I had for sale into the same box.

I forgot to check when packing the box with stuffing and took it down to post office. I was wondering why it was so heavy.

the lovely buyer emailed me today to say you sent me 2 series instead of 1.

I asked if they wanted the other series for £2 as it would cost more to return and by the time I sold I would be at a loss. She said yes and I sent an invoice by paypal and she paid.

so a loss and a win at the same time.
