I get lost and forget what I have added and what I haven't, so am going to post with dates and can work out where I am at. I do have ample notebooks and start writing things down, then things happen and it doesn't happen.

    So 1 August 2017, I cashed out £10 amazon voucher on people.io

    10p from citizenme

    £6.05 from prolific

Evening / morning all. Re-visiting MSE after a long period away (just noticed my signature - seems I was last here 5 yrs ago!). After being pretty good with my money for a long time, I took up an M&S credit card to receive FREE points. Despite paying it off in full initially, bigger purchases ended up going on it, and month by month the debt started stacking up. Fortunately it is still interest free currently, but I'm determined to get the balanced (just over £1,300) paid off ASAP.

This topic is exactly the kind of motivation I need to do so. I'm on holiday at the moment, so will take a few days to get into the swing of things.

Lets go for £100 for the month to begin with. Fingers crossed! Good luck to all involved this month!

For those asking about selling and prolific academic.

PA does go a bit quieter during the summer holidays as not all the researchers are around. Also, there has been a huge influx of new sign ups to PA and I think that has an affect. While some people can sit in front of PCs and laptops for quite a few hours of the day, they will be getting the new latest surveys. Those of us who come along a few hours later, may see nothing. It's like anything, it gets talked about, loads sign up and the number of surveys/points/payouts drop.

I do vypr and I used to cash out weekly. Now I am lucky to cash out once a month.

I do shopprize, and the referral has decreased from 1000 points to just 25.

so it's like anything, the more it gets talked about, the less the rewards or the longer it takes to earn them.

    Selling sites

I have tried using shpock unsuccessfully. I haven't heard of the other ones, but I know the younger people do some trendy sites.

There is a new selling site, i don't know much about it but you can refer people. it is called Mercari. You can do it on your phone/tablet or sign up to do it online.

    #2 Referral Board

I cannot stop talking about this board. I was on it earlier looking for the shopprize (android only app) thread and spotted a referral thread for something that I ALREADY do. It hadn't occurred to me to post my referral on there!

I know you may only get one, but one is one more than 0. Also if you are on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, don't forget to post your referrals there too. You will be surprised who signs up.

I know a few ladies who post their referrals in Facebook selling groups and they get quite a few people signing up and making them money!

so get your referrals out there!
