hello and welcome everyone to the first day of August 2017.
I'm off out with DS as now have my car back.
but a mini challenge for those who ebay.
Try and list at least 5 things on ebay today. BIN or auction, upto you.
I prefer BIN these days as seem to sell much better and you aren't waiting for auctions to end on a Saturday and then can't post until Monday.
And my other mini challenge for all posters..... let's see if we can hit 1000 posts by the end of the month. :rotfl::T:eek:
so post when you earn money, have an idea for making money, to moan, to celebrate, just post
Let's get going. I will have a mini challengers posts, so post your interest and we will see how we have all done by tomorrow and what we manage to sell by the end of the month.
Thanks to Aesop, Lynne and CBC for your encouragement.
Please add me for £10 a day as usual.
Aesop I have received the [email protected] email. I will join you on the challenge to list. Always used auction listings but have done a few relists on BIN. Do you use 30 days on BIN? Now off to start listing as I have nothing to add to the pot as yet.
I am finding PA very quiet at the moment, is anyone else?

Yay - off to a start with an £8 sale on ebay, was a seven day auction for 4 mobile phones from ages ago (2 nokias and 2 sony eriksson) that I liberated from a kitchen drawer at my mum's house. My daughter couldn't believe anyone would want to buy them. It is hard to believe - have put excellent branded clothes on and got £1.50.
Ebay has really changed in the couple of years I have been away from it. I suppose facebook, shpock and depop have all had an effect - might give depop or shpock a try for some things. Does anyone else use these?
My daughters are selling clothes on there, seems a young clientele

Great news about the phones selling:T. I agree with you about the most unlikely items finding buyers yet really good stuff is unsold or goes for a pittance.
I've got about 8 old mobile phones in the shed that I was going to bin. Someone gave them to me years ago to 'get rid of' and I offered them to various charity shops, none of which accepted mobile phones. The online buyers like Envirofone etc didn't want to buy them them either but said they'd recycle them if I sent them:eek:. Never got round to it:o and years have passed since then. I'm wondering now whether to try eBay with them, they're so old they're practically antique:rotfl:. Just heavy, basic, not even a camera type of old phones that weigh a ton. I saw on TV that Nokia are re-launching their old style phones as there's a demand for them again. Mine might be just what someone's looking for;). Will do a bit of research tonight.

Sorry, Aesop, not able to join your mini eBay challenge at the moment:o. Good Luck to everyone who has a go:beer:
I'll certainly be contributing to the 1000 posts challenge though. I loved it the last time we did it and, as you all know, I can rabbit for England:rotfl:

One way to make a bit of money, there is free games on virgin casino that can be played daily, some weeks I get up to £30 other weeks nothing but if you play everyday for a month you get a bonus game last day of month which gives you bigger wins and you always get something, then you can just withdraw it straight away, worth a try and it's free money, I can't remember if you need to deposit something first or not (I did it a long time ago)

Just had some surprise good news. £72 paid into my bank account from my gas/electricity supplier from monthly overpayment. Wasn't expecting that at all, very pleased though. Giving my month a healthy kickstart x

Yes - me too... could make August a bit tricky to get to my target if it doesn't pick up! Been like that for a couple of weeks now for me.
