that figure sounds the same as DH when he goes dentist. no idea where I got £20 from - unless that's what the dentist told DH when he moaned, ie £20 for filling, and rest for xrays, time etc.

so pleased you got a great dentist. makes the world of difference. And funnily enough I have heard the Polish dentists are the best. Think they must be taught better and really know what they are doing.

I think when Europe opened the gates to free travel between UK and Europe, people were promised better jobs here, hence why your dentist and his wife are here. I think like anything the promise of great jobs was to lure them over and to be with the the rest of us, low paid jobs.

    Thanks x

I can understand why they came to UK but can't for the life of me see why they'd want to end up in such a rural backwater as this:eek:

I hope you'll manage to get an early night as soon as DS goes to bed:j. I worry about you getting so little sleep on a regular basis. You must be exhausted most of the time:eek:.

probably because it's lovely. your description of where you live, sounds great. I couldn't do it as I am a city gal but I love visiting the countryside.

Although where we are looking to move to has the best of both worlds. No neighbours behind you, as just fields, but a village life. Just 20 mins down the road is a town.

I am tired all the time. problem is where DH is working, he gets up at silly oclock to go to work.

Now I can make his lunch the night before and leave in fridge, he will grab it when he remembers. But I often give him hot food for a change, so I have to get up and heat it for him. Also he wakes me when he gets up so even if I didn't get up physically, I am aware of him being awake and moving around the house, etc.
  • I for one cannot function without my sleep..........I get rather

Get an early night Aesop!! CBC....so pleased you got your tooth sorted and wasnt as bad as you expected.
