There is a referral board for circle I think. But you only get money for referring when the person you referred, sends £25 to someone else.

    From the circle app

    Ok, here's the gist:
Only people who don't have Circle yet can be invited.
To get the referral bonus, your friend has two weeks from the invitation date to sign up using a valid funding source (a debit card or other means of depositing money into their Circle account) and send at least $25 from that linked account (or £25 in the UK, or 25€ in the rest of the EEA).
You'll be paid in your default account currency (U.S. Dollars, Sterling pounds or Euro) directly into your Circle account.
There's a $500 referral limit (or £500 in the UK, or 500€ in the rest of the EEA).
We reserve the right to remove you from the referral program or deny payment of any referral bonus if we determine you are being shady (for example, inviting fake accounts, inviting existing users or doing anything that violates our User Agreement).
We reserve the right to modify or end the referral program at any time. By continuing to invite friends after an update to these terms, you are accepting the changes. If we end the referral program, we’ll honor any pending referral bonuses for two weeks.

Ok - sorry - now removed.

Thanks very much for the tip:A:T. Will definitely try that:j

The first comp I ever won was when I was about 14 and won a 10 shilling postal order from a national newspaper for sending in a letter about my home town's football team. It was worth a lot of money in those days:rotfl:

I won a ten shilling postal order too in a colouring competition in one of the women's magazines that my mum read when I was small, they have folded now but I freelanced for them for a while in the 90s once I was grown up and felt they'd seen my potential ;)

  • Haven't been on here in a while, so an update:

Currently on an average of £4.94 per day, and a total of £74.03 out of a target for the month of £155.
A combination of Swagbucks (average 58p a day), Slidejoy earnings (average 6p a day) and working a second job (two shifts so far, averaging ~£30).

I have only just started working my second job though, and am about to get a load more shifts, so I might get away with being more ambitious than my £5 a day (hopefully!)
  • Bit quiet on here? Is everyone trying to get to target on swagbucks?

Im on 99/120 so not far off. Contributed 707sb to pineapple as well. :D

  • Back from the dentists where everything went well:j. Apart from having to have the whole filling drilled out (plus a fair bit of the remaining tooth:eek:) and a brand new filling done. The dentist was Polish and looked about 14:eek: but he was excellent and the best dentist I've ever been to, much gentler, patient and just nicer than the senior dentists there. His wife is also a dentist there too and I wonder what made them come over here and end up in such a backwater as this. It cost £56 which isn't too bad considering the time it took including the X-rays etc. and that's the going rate for that treatment on NHS. I envy you being able to get fillings for £20, Aesop:T. According to the NHS tariff which was on the website they do emergency temporary fillings for £20 but that wouldn't have been any use to me. He gave all the other fillings a good examination and said they should last for years (accidents permitting) so hopefully that's the end of my expense for a while:j

I hope that's the end of my sleepless nights, I'm practically nodding off already. Will have to leave making money until tomorrow;).

that figure sounds the same as DH when he goes dentist. no idea where I got £20 from - unless that's what the dentist told DH when he moaned, ie £20 for filling, and rest for xrays, time etc.

so pleased you got a great dentist. makes the world of difference. And funnily enough I have heard the Polish dentists are the best. Think they must be taught better and really know what they are doing.

I think when Europe opened the gates to free travel between UK and Europe, people were promised better jobs here, hence why your dentist and his wife are here. I think like anything the promise of great jobs was to lure them over and to be with the the rest of us, low paid jobs.
