  • Aesop, just been reading posts I skimmed through yesterday and read about your headache. I hope you're feeling OK now. Like someone else said, I hope you manage to get a bit of 'me time' but knowing your hectic schedules and the way you put everyone else first I doubt you ever 'steal' enough time to relax:A. My OH is a big headache 24/7:eek:

I saw in a later post that you love coffee:coffee:. I used to drink it all the time when I was working full time but never bothered with it much at home. It may have been my tastebuds but I tried all the brands and couldn't find one I liked. I drink mine black with no sugar so can really taste the coffee. I saw something new, well new to me anyway, at the supermarket last week, on a really cheap offer so I bought some to try and really like it:j. Might get to be a regular coffee drinker again, but I doubt anything could ever wean me off my tea addiction;)
  • Wow CBC!! Fantastic earnings on your carboot!! Very impressive.
Have you got anything left to sell? :rotfl:

Yep, plenty left. I don't ever think I'll see the day when every single piece of tat is gone:rotfl:

Hope you soon get some "me" time Aesop and if you dont........just come on here and have a rant. I certainly dont mind and Im sure others dont either.

Some great results from the rest of you as well!!

Same goes for me too, Aesop:beer:

A friend has just tipped me off about Gousto where you get sent all ingredients and recipes for 4 meals for £35. She sent me her referral code and I got 50% off so a saving of £17.50 :T

Will be getting my delivery during my week off so that should be interesting!

    Anyone else used this company?

Sounds an interesting idea, KM:T. Never heard of them myself so can't give you any feedback. Please keep us posted about what they send you and the type of meals you can make with it. When you said 'all ingredients' did you mean meat/fish as well? Also, is it like a subscription type scheme where you're tied in to membership and have to buy something every month or whatever the timescale is?

Something's happened to my multiple post thingy so some comments to KM's post are in red.

Yes they send you absolutely everything needed for the recipe and all weighed out ready to use. My friend is a really good cook but like most of us was fed up of doing the same old recipes week after week. This gives you the chance to try something new without having to scour the supermarket for the right ingredient and then wasting the rest of it if its not to your taste. She swears by it and keeps the recipes she has enjoyed to get ingredients herself.

You are not tied into a contract at all and can opt for weekly or monthly deliveries or can miss whenever you want.

I will post on here what I think to them when I have had delivery and made my meals and if anyone is interested, I can pass on my own referral code which gives 50% off first two orders. :D

  • Been very quiet over the weekend. Had my first couple of ebay sales tho. First one for £5.50 posted today and one waiting for payment . And a cheeky £2win on a scratchcard my brother stuck in my birthday card! So I'm up to £20.68/£155. Hoping this will increase this week as I've some auctions ending on eBay tomorrow and I've been sorting some more baby stuff to sell. Bouncers and toys take up so much room! If only I could talk the 4 year old into having a clear out!x

Speaking of Gousto...just back in work after a couple of weeks off, and I have a couple of Gousto vouchers sat on my desk from something else I purchased a while back. They are valid until 31st August and offer £20 off the 1st box, and £20 off the 2nd box. Not sure what the cost of the boxes are, but if anybody would like the voucher codes, just let me know :)

If there's a better place to post this on the MSE site, could somebody kindly point me in the right direction :rotfl:
  • There have been a few gousto threads......I searched yesterday.......but not a regular running one for codes. I posted on here as I would prefer people with same goals as me to benefit.

At full price its quite pricey but if its ok and I can keep getting it a bit cheaper, I will stick with it.

Congrats on baby by the way  When is it due? I so wish this site had been up and running when mine were born (20+ years ago) would have saved me a fortune!
