Mr Redo has done some chain saw pruning of overgrown shrubs while I did some Felco pruning of the wisteria. The old lady must be 70 years old (based in a 1978 photo of mature plant that came with the house) and she should not be frightened with petroleum powered mayhem.Outside wall was damaged by a H0warths builders merchants lorry delivering to neighbours at the end of August, and although they have admitted fault, and allegedly passed it to their insurers, we have had no contact since. Most annoying, and I object to having to spend time chasing it again. They certainly will not get our business for materials going forwards. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I'm thinking it might be time to start a new diary. We went debt neutral a few years back, mortgage neutral last year, and then paid the mortgage off when the fixed rate deal ended last year. Slightly older than me Mr Redo went FIRE at the end of Covid (huge thanks to his younger self who invested in DB pensions)and I plan to stop by 2030 at the latest (unless we get suckered into buying an amazing house that is worth working till 67 for, no, probably not). There will still be cheese though, promise. Just need to think of a name first. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
