No jumper buying?! Things must be serious redo!
I’ve always thought coming back as a loved house cat would be nice. Snoozing, play, snoozing, food, snoozing, cuddles…and all with perfect boundaries and disdain for anything I don’t want to do. Definitely the life.Debt at LBM (Dec 2018): £23,167

Yes @KajiKita is absolutely right, a crumbly rock with an aniseed/liquorice type flavour. I used to get them in the chemists as a child so a nostalgic purchase.
I had one of those moments of giggling at the 'last minute ideas' marketing, then looking at the date and realising I am completely ignoring festivities so a minor flurry of activity to order the things I know I needed to buy at least. I used to buy my presents on Christmas Eve changing train on the way to my parents - happy days. I think life was a lot simpler then even if I had a lot less to spend.

I used to love Christmas Eve panic shopping then staying up until midnight wrapping them 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

A friend told me a few years back her brother had bought all his gifts on the way home on Christmas Eve after a few drinks and wrapped them while still merry, meaning everyone opened their gifts to find that under the wrapping paper they were still in various carrier bags with the receipts insideDebt at LBM (Dec 2018): £23,167

That does sound like me @astrocytic_kitten. Mine always look like they have been wrapped by a drunken insomniac at 2am regardless due to the furry helpers so I might as well crack open the wine. Then I forget to label them and we play present roulette..
@Sun_Addict it was the big Boots near Nottingham station for a few years.
I did get round to ordering (and pre-paying) from the butchers today so we will potentially be fed at least.
I have improved my not very green credentials and invested in two metal refillable cleaning spray bottles. Not the cheapest but the dispensers should last rather than the endless churn of (recycled, but still excessive) plastic that makes me feel guilty. I was hoping the less bleach like smell would reduce the attraction for the cats but no the Cyclops ex stray has been lovingly licking the door frames etc. The new sprays do (briefly) smell nice before the cat gets to them, but that isn't going to make me any more enthusiastic about cleaning.
Last weekend I used the astonish apple anti mould spray which was very good, removed most of it, and knocked back the really bad patches. Trouble was the cats (ALL of the cats) loved the smell and spent hours kissing the walls, generally at 2am.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I’ve been looking at the Astonish mould spray so interesting to hear it’s good. I bought the HG one which was a lot more expensive. Not used it yet.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
