  • It was SSG, the bathroom at least is now fit for use.

I did steak and roasted veg in the end. I also made a gluten free loaf, using the recipe on the back of the flour. Used the kenwood, as it needed whisking, and then the dough hook once the second half of the oil went in. The end result was nice, nice enough for the boys to pinch most of it anyway. Not cheap through, as you would expect. 500g of GF bread flour is 85p.

I bought some vitamin tablets with probiotics in as they will allegedly help (actually remembering to take them will be a good start), but I am so short sighted that I didn't spot that they are for 50 plus :rotfl:
  • Forget to say (there's a surprise!) that I have signed up for a free 5 day shop your wardrobe challenge that starts tomorrow for which I have to have to sort through my clothes today. There are different levels depending on how much time you have. I have done her challenges before and they are always entertaining and helpful.

There is a link to sign up here if anyone else wants to join in.

I'd love to do the wardrobe thing given my current challenges working out what fits, but unfortunately I'm away from today until Wednesday (actually, I really should get on and pack and drag myself to the station!).

Apart from the initial wardrobe tidy, I think this one is more of a 'think about what you wear and why' thing.
  • Just spent some time catching up with your diary. Some interesting ideas and the like. Also, I don't need to but generally avoid/rarely eat gluten. Have you tried chickpea flour wraps? Can be used for pizza bases, too. The flour is pretty cheap if you have an Asian store near you and it could add a but of variation :)

The wardrobe challenge sounds interesting, will take a look. I have loads of clothes but nothing to wear syndrome.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I had a look at the wardrobe challenge but it seems to have disappeared. I think I was too late! Let us know how you are getting along with it. I always find these clothes challenges interesting.
