What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
  • 3/25 for me so far. Will be AF until 26th of the month.....that's the plan anyway
What goes around comes around.....I hope!

:eek:Oh my days OVER £2000 pa on alcohol way back in 2010  - that to me is a problem even if she doesn't think so! That is £167 per MONTH. That's 33 plus bottles of wine at £5 (per month). Or 11 plus bottles of spirits at £15 per bottle (per month). Nuts imho.

In 2010 I spent the grand total of £74 on alcohol ALL YEAR - £6 per month - that was also for 2 of us. That was my lowest ever amount however.....:D That year I has 273 AFDs.

Shaggy, she might maybe be buying very expensive wine - as a newspaper columnist she was probably paid loads - I know that's not your point, it's just what occurred to me thinking about the amount. It's a lot of cash, that's for sure.

Quite a stressful evening last night, definitely wanted a drink. Reminded myself it doesn't actually reduce stress or solve the issue, just numb me and make the next day worse. The craving passed pretty quickly, so another day AF. No intentions of drinking today, think I'll do a list of things I can do in the evening now I don't have a regular appointment with the wine.

+2 for last night and tonight please Shaggy, takes me to 4/31

Well done New Me. That's a really good sign.:T

I think I'd feel miffed about the 'hidden' booze too scatterbrain. I'm assuming they were full bottles not empties of course. The only explanation I can think of is that they were outside keeping cool rather than hidden but I'm sure I'd have remembered about them if a guest came to stay.:)

    No drinking for me today.

    3 AFDs please Shaggy.
  • Not drinking today so its a 4/19

Still not sleeping well atm hoping that sorts out soon. Not really craving exactly but I do feel like somethings missing which of course it is. Remember feeling like that when I gave up smoking so i know it will lessen

I would have been annoyed too scatterbrain I always have nicer stuff for guests not the cheapo box stuff I have myself :)
  • Hi Shaggy
