Buyer has put house back on the market as her buyer has come in last minute wanting a huge reduction in price for various issues (all known about when original offer made). Although its put us in limbo, I do feel like fair play to her for calling his bluff! Her agent now chasing other interested parties to see if anyone wants to view again!
Good luck mm1985!
But even if she doesn't get a new buyer this week.....the rollercoaster begins again

Still waiting for a new completion date after all got delayed just before I was due to exchange last week. Really hoping to get a date ASAP as my mortgage offer expires at the end of the month - broker is attempting to get extension. No luck getting hold of my solicitor today so far but I’m hoping she has some good news when I manage to get through!0

I had to do this, it was on the paperwork with the mortgage offer, the solicitor wrote to my boyfriend separately, advising him to take legal advice before signing.... but he knows the score, and was happy to sign this.
Hopefully it's a quick fix!0 -

Came day before exchange and top of chai. Couldn't do it. No reason etc. Still no reason despite chasers from our solicitor.
It's so infuriating

Day from hell- please give me sympathy/virtual hugs.Started off ok- email from solicitor first thing to say we should exchange today or tomorrow and they’d let me know. Completion date intended for 29 January.Call at 11am from the letting agent of the rental we are meant to be moving into on that date. I expected it to be to tell me the tenancy agreement was ready to sign. Nope it was to tell me the property is no longer available as the landlord has decided to sell. What ensued was me calling around letting agents for a new rental and everything was under reference.Got to 5.30pm of doing this to realise I’d not heard a thing back from my solicitor about exchange. Too late to chase.Looks like we might have to move in with family temporarily while we get a rental sorted.I have 2 cats and 1 dog and it means I will have no choice but to put them into a cattery/kennel temporarily while we get a rental sorted (assuming they’re still even operating during lockdown) which hopefully shouldn’t be too long as we will get a rental eventually. But breaks my heart to be away from my pets but family have pets already and a small house so this is my only option.I’m in the worst anxious state ever so please be kind.0

Oh I'm sorry that's awful. We were dreading ending up in that situation, we have family to bunk in with but our v loud and clumsy dog less welcome.
I'm chanting "Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end. ”to myself several times an hour at the moment!!
Sending love.3
