Couldn't agree more! There needs to be an online tool that tracks the entire chain and where they have got to so you can see exactly where the bottleneck is!0 -
Our vendor has finally responded to the enquiries and our solicitor is reporting to us on them in the morning! And our useless neighbour had all the ID1 and TR1 forms signed today without any hiccups thank god!
Will tomorrow be our day for exchange??? My solicitor suggested if the answers to enquiries are satisfactory then we can exchange tomorrow.... aiming for completion on the 5th... fingers crossed everyone0 -
Some good news - we're due to exchange on Monday and complete on the 16th"Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

A lot of exciting news this week which is positive! Congrats to all of you on exchanging and to all those still waiting, hang in there!!
We had the boiler inspected on the house we are buying today as our vendors were unable to provide any documentation regarding the installation and servicing. Boiler is fine so now we can crack on with exchanging! And hopefully completing on the 31st x0 -
Sol is proposing exchange and completion on Fri 26th (he has all monies now). But the other party wont commit to a declaration of use for access from a side garden gate to an dead end alley/small road.0

If they don't put it in writing, I have to decide if completion goes ahead tomorrow! :eek:0 -
Congrats to all those who seem to be finally getting there!
Still completely in the waiting game still for us, i have feeling it will not happen for the completion date or all be very last minute. 31st for completion apparently, yet not exchanged or even taken our deposit money.0 -
Currently playing a game of 'when my solicitor says they will report to me in the morning, what time she does actually mean'... my other half has optimistically gone for 10.30am whereas me the realist has gone for 11.45am...
If she does it will turn into a new game of 'will we or wont be exchange today'.
Time seems to stand still when you are waiting for updates doesn't it!!
Hoping for progress for you all today too0 -
